Toon vw - I put new clips in about a year ago. its best to put them in with some silicon sealant around them as mine let water into the boot. Although they looked a nice tight fit you would be suprised how much water they can let in through the corrado script. took me ages to work out why the boot was getting wet until i went into the boot through the back seat with a torch while it was persisting with rain one day, sure enough it was the clips.

So true about the shelf supports, clips etc. I had to re do them again after the garage fitted my coilovers. Keep a close eye on them if a garage does them for you.

Funny you should say that......after having my charger g-werks rebuilt and chip and pulley.....I had just finished my 500 mile running in period when a clio 182 pulled up at the side of me at some lights...wasn't bothered about a race but he pulled off tyres burning so i thought sod it ...floored it ,he had 2 car lenghs on me from the start but got right up side by side with him in no time on a mile or so stretch...up to 120 mph, i had a couple of car lenghs on him when we both had to stand on the brakes to stop at another set of lights. I was impressed how fast my G60 was as it was the first time i had given it the beans ,and i was impressed how fast the clio was....the driver gave me the thumbs up while we were waiting for the lights to change again.

The tailpipe coming out at an angle is exactly the same as the original corrado exhaust, as is the oval shape.

Here are some pics of the full G-Werks ss exhaust fitted to my 91 G60. This exhaust system is brilliant....Made from top quality 304 grade stainless steel and mandrel bent for improved gas flow. It has a lovely tone, and looks mint fitted. When darren first sent me this system the cat bypass and middle sections fitted mm perfect but the rear section was not a good fit...A bit off centre in the recess, hung a bit low and the tailpipe was 25 degrees or so out so looked a bit naff. After a few discussions with darren about it he asked if i would travel to the manufacturers factory in devon so they could make a jig straight from the car rather than a pattern they were using previously (all expenses paid- very nice of you darren)....after 4 hours and the rear section on and off the car about 15 times they had a new jig welded up and the rear section fitting mm perfect. Really enjoyed watching the system being made from scratch by a grand bunch of lads. Anybody who is after a new ss exhaust look no further.....this system is BRILLIANT.

Hi all, Top hose broke off from the temp sensor housing yesterday afternoon doing 120 mph down a duel carrigeway playing with a wrx. Heart was in my mouth, steam everywhere though i had blown the engine or something. Quite a relief to see it was only the housing plastic that had broken off after i had pulled up. Probably my fault actually as the top hose to the housing started to leak after numerous on off's doing coolant changes, the original clip (the type that you put on and off with pliers) just wouldn't stop leaking so i put on a jubilee clip which i had to tighten right up to stop it from leaking which more than likely weakened it. This happened to anyone else ?..........Can anybody tell me how much one of these is please and anything to know/do while changing it ? (G60 by the way) Cheers Chris.

I'm affraid as in nearly all cases tattyrado you get what you pay for, and this is a deffinate case of not scrimping on the money. Get a loom from KUR2Y quality and results are second to none. Don't compromise on build quality, reliability and safety. :D :thumb right:
