Thanks :) I've had it just over a year now, mainly had to spend out on getting wear and tear items fixed. It did have a set of BBS', which I replaced with the G60 steels (new from the stealership) a few months ago.

It's a 1991 G60, lowered 40mm, de cat, full stainless powerflow zorst, steelies and a lot of elbow grease to stop it going pink ;) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v63/s ... e736f6.jpg

Yep, polo is my daily drive, 'rado is tucked away in the garage
-
Exactly!!!!! I couldn't even work out how to change the air filter!? Will be taking it to a local garage in the week - I'm not paying VW £215 to do it !!!!!!!!! Viva la resistance!!!!!

Thought I would save some much needed pennies by servicing my Polo myself, I mean, I done my 'rado myself - how hard could it be?? So, got all me service parts, jack it up and woops......VW seem to have made nice plastic covers for everything........ I don't like being under the car at the best of times, let alone faffing about taking off bits of plastic just to do a basic service So boo hiss to whoever designed the Polo gti

I used t-cut color polish on mine, followed by an application of zymol hard wax. It does wear off tho :( , the bonnet is worst affected.

Just ordered a set of 15" G60 steel wheels. Bearing in mind that it's gonna be dropped 40mm soon, am I safe in assuming that the correct tyre size to put on these will be 195/50/15?? :?:

Bought in October last year. Not really been able to do many mods (other than replacing the stock panel filter with a K&N item) as it needed so many new parts to keep it on the road!!! Hopefully getting a new set of wheels on her soon! :)

It was much much easier to re-fit lol
