Quickest car you've been in, owned and most interesting....

Fastest I've driven would probably be an A4 2.8 Quattro that we had at work. Fastest Ive been a passenger in (or at least it felt fcking fast! ) would probably be my mates Sierra Cosworth he used to have. Fastest Ive owned would be the 'rado ;) Not sure about the most interesting, can't say I've driven anything that was rare or anything! -
Hmm, I have all my tools (basic socket set, spanners etc) plua a torch, bottle of water, air filter (standard one i took off), a headlight , as well as a few bulbs and some electrical tape. Oh, and a puncture repair kit ;)

Picked up a drivers seat to replace my broken-bolstered one (the broken one will now become part of my automotive living room furniture )

Mine's car specific too - L2 DUB. Bought it ages ago. Did toy with the idea of having a G6 O** plate on the rado, but can't justify spending it atm

341 miles on one VR6 tank of fuel, can 360 be done surely not

I have no idea, but one thing I have found out through experience is that as soon as the needle touches red, theres no more petrol  -
Got mine out for the first time in 3 weeks - and one of the hoses in the engine bay is p*ssing petrol :( Edit: Fixed!!! :) Edit for M15VW's amusement: Note to self - never yank off a fuel hose because you get covered in fuel
-
Mine were £100 with tyres plus centres. At the time, sets in similar condition were fetching £80-£130 on the 'bay :)
-
I cleaned and waxed mine and tucked it back in the garage. It's done a good 700 miles in the last few weeks while the polo has been having a gearbox swap.

Well, I used a U shaped bit of metal, so maybe
-
I 'modified' my driver side handle a bit so it wouldn't keep popping out of the door everytime i open it!
-
What he said

All sorted - car booked in for next week with Pentagon :) They seemed to know what they were on about more so than the other places I tried. Ps, I am not pimping my car  this is one of those 'for the guv'nor' type errands......

Yay for superchargers :D I cleaned and polished mine today!

Is it a rented garage in a block or actually near your house with separate access for you to get in and out? If its in a block, its trickier to re inforce from the inside as you only have one way in and out. Assuming its an up and over type door with a lock that works on a wire, you could put a length of metal along the top edge - to stop anyone from getting into the gap and snipping the wire and getting in that way. If you can, put a couple of hefty bolts either side of the door on the inside. Shitter mate - pisses me off when people rob stuff

thankyou mr beige ;)

I'm just after recommendations..........

preferably someone in the Essex area who does mobile work? I tried Topgear Essex, but they only do it if you take the car in. Anyone reccommend anyone? I'd rather go on a recommendation tbh.....
