  1. Very nice - red is the best color
  2. I did, until I drove all the way from my house (essex) to Pitstop (sussex). Long drives like that in it are fckin ace 8)
  3. What would I do to my C? Have it totally re built and re sprayed, no expense spared :) and build a house thats sort of a flat on top of my very own huuuge garage :) Unless of course I win just a tenner. In which case I might put some petrol in it.......
  4. Just the start? Has anyone actually got to the mythical end? ;) Mine was a bit of a dog mechanically, spent the first few months looking at the back of an AA van  Its sort of getting there........
  5. £162? Your corrado is a cheap date compared to mine
  6. I am 25, my insurance was £399 with elephant, with an extra £32 on top a couple of montha ago when I declared it being kept elsewhere.......
  7. Nice one ;) First thing is to get the charger done - I'm sure it's not just me that would recommend Pitstop Developments/ G-Werks for this. This was one of the first things I spunked cash on - good job too, as mine was on its way out (having never been done - at 116k too!!!!) Wheels - standard should be "15 bbs wheels with 195/50 tyres (from memory) on the G60 :)
  8. If I had to drive a corrado everyday, I'd prolly want a VR - the G is definitely a weekend beast ;)
  9. er.....thought about it.....and that was it lol
  10. Can I just say.......mine is sparkly clean.....
  11. particularly liked Clarksons "if this breaks down, i'll have no brakes" followed by the maserati breaking down and stopping in a hedge lol

    NOT Happy!

^^^what he said - lots of elbow grease also. follow up with a coat of proper wax ;)
  13. My 5 year old Polo is now due for its annual inspection - rather than pay the £215 at the stealers (which, incidentally, is mainly trainees in the workshop at the mo) I bought oil/filters for £40 and am getting it done by a local mechanic I trust!!!! Not being funny, but the service I got last time was a joke. The car broke down because the clutch had been incorrectly adjusted when they replaced the pedal box under recall (they also managed to chip the paint on the door - which they sorted, but not without rudeness and a bit of an argue). I had it serviced while it was in, and they managed to ring me twice to tell me I had a chip in my windscreen, but never rung to say the car was ready for collection!? I only found out it was waiting for me to pick it up when i buzzed down in the rado for some parts. I'd rather put my hard-earned in the pocket of someone who knows what they're doing and takes pride in it! :)
  14. Do you mean Darren as in G-Werks Darren?????
  15. so, hoping not to sound thick here, but where's the best place to get 8mm hose??
  16. Totally lush car to drive, imo. In fact, I'm pretty certain I want my next daily drive to be a beefy Audi :)
  17. Selling a car privately is soooo much hassle......stick with it though, someone worthy will snap it up soon!!!!! :)
  18. Polo or Lupo - roomy, nippy, nice to look at - who needs a soft top :)
  19. my dislike.......that i cant afford to run two of them
  20. oh dear - this probably explains why mine has had 3 fuel leaks anyone found out the VAG part numbers for these three hoses? I would go to the stealership, but tbh, im not entirely sure what i would be looking at on the exploded diagram
  21. well, I am in Wickford...work in Basildon
  22. Lol, near the much-fabled Basildon
