I don't care about the old ones. Only way they coming off is grinding the head of the bolt off as the captive nut has snapped inside the subframe.

All other bolts flew off, not had a single broken bolt. Just building up the new sub frame. Hopefully will all be done by end if the day

Started at 11am, engine ready go back in now, but going fit new clutch and gearbox before that happens.

Been an easy job so far.

Just phoned VW for some speed nuts and they are obsolete! Lol

I've got new wishbones to go on, and all new bolts :) so no issues

ive got all new wishbones and bolts so once its off, just straight to go on... the captive nut had snapped off anyway so just spins around...

We've got a spare space :)

Took my bumper off yesterday, and the engine didn't fall out, nor did I need to hold the cross member with a jack!

Got a hella on my vr6. Superb fitment and built really well.

Any advise on removing sub frame bolts? Pretty scared at the thought they will snap?

Corrado is mostly in bits today :) hopefully engine out by COP today.

Christmas has come early! Tomorrow ill be building up the slam panel, riveting on the plastics, fitting cams, exhaust hangers, boot has struts and new injectors in no particular order :)

All parts arrived at VW. £102.74

50p per bolts for N 101 430 03 :) all my items have been delivered to VW at a total cost of £102.74. I'm pretty chuffed, thought it would be a lot more!

Anyone know what bolts I need :)

Let me know what the cost is for fitting the plugs :)

I might need new installation instructions too, mine have gone errrr missing :(
