Measured the car today, 12.5ft (3.8M) ft roughly so looks the medium which caters for cars upto 4.6M.

I'll have see what other sizes they do when I pop up tomorrow.

These clips, am I suppose to push them in or prise them away from the hand break? I've tried both and still not coming off :)

I'm just about to install Daves handbrake tunnel kit, but struggling to even get the plastic off the handbrake. Help :-)

I just took that off to get a better photo :)

It's just that there's a washer I found that the tip of the latch looks to have fit into. Passenger side was sat on the washer and drivers side wasn't and latch goes all the way through.

As long as its safe then ok I guess :)

Is this right, or should it sit on washer that prevents it going all the way? Cheers Pete

Why not just buy a full victor reinz head gasket kit? If your after stem seals and head gasket it would make logical sense to use all the other gaskets the set comes with?

Thought its time I got a cover, it will be kept in the garage but gets dusty and brushed up against...

Yes I have them, which clip do you need? Is it the one that holds the surround in just above the hole on your surround?

Yeah that's the one Dave, the plastic bit on the surround just clips into it, there's 3 in total but already have 2.

But I'll take them off your hands for £13 no problem :)

I've only noticed the other day that my passenger light is from an early corrado and my drivers is from a late, just going swap the glass and plastic surround like I have done with my drivers side already from a set of knackered lights I had.

There's a corrado storm just gone up for sale on VR6OC.

Hi everyone.

I'm after the plastic surround from a passenger side late headlight glass and one metal securing clip.

Some one has drilled 2 holes in mine and I'm also missing one clip.

Andy, it's easy enough removing inlet mani, cam cover and the end cover, the problem comes undoing the sprocket bolt. It wouldn't budge on mine, hence having to use the one off my breaker. If it had come off then I doubt I'd have this problem.

 

Oh and you need to use joint sealant when refitting the end cover, not sure if the VW stuff is a must or some other brand will do?

Even if you were able to crack off the bolt, I'd be surprised if the pickup hasn't of broke upon removal anyway

Kev, yes the intermediate shaft timing marks were properly aligned. Do I need to swap the whole sprocket or does the actual trigger block come off?

It just pops off with a screw driver, Dave. I had to replace mine doing my cams, was about £12 from VW, no need replace the sprocket.
