Yup, thats the crack pipe, while your at it, you might as well replace the thermostat housing too, as once they come off, they dont usally go back on without leaking...

I've updated the thread on VR6OC and have asked the pepole who were maybe to let me know if they are in or out now the prices are known.

good work as always, Dave. My new front sub-frame has just come, so off to powder coaters in the next few days, not looking forward to that job, but at least I can just drop the lot from the car so makes it easier, just hope no bolts snap.... Going to replace wishbones and bushes while i'm at it too.

Hi everyone.
Did the output tests...
Could hear the valve going tick tock...
On this one couldn't hear anything, is this an expected output?
So I moved onto removing the gravity valve, removed all operating as I'd expect it too....
I then blew down the black pipe from the gravity valve, couldn't blow down it, is this expected?
I then removed the clear pipe on the charcoal filter and tried blow down that, couldn't blow down it, couldn't feel anything coming out of it either or smell of fuel vapour etc... Is this expected? Had a look for kinks and nothing is visible...

Good question! I've already had a golf mk3 vr6 and a mk2 VR so a corrado was the next logical step for me.

Hi mate, just arrived :)
2 x front to rear
1 x near side
quality looks great as always... well packed and also with the added bonus of a new gromet for the front near side pipe... really happy, and very quick turn around.

Took punto for MOT, failed again! looks like the CAT is knackered too.
so thats a new exhaust, upstream lambda and a CAT :) great eh? my corrado needs less work than the 5 year old car to get her through the MOT!

spot on mate that. great. as long as the captive nuts are good I.E wishbone bolts tighten up ok then i'll have it... will be shot blasted and powder coated anyway before i fit.
-
Yeah they do go tight :) usually I get 2 flat sided objects, one each side of the grip on the cap to make it easier to unscrew...

So what part numbers would I need then for bolts and stuff? Looking to replace lower arms too. And going to assume I need new wishbone bolts too if anyone knows the part numbers? :)
