Hi buddy. The fuse blows even without the motor connected. It used to wind both ways, however just stopped :( when winding manually it seems smooth in both directions but didn't run slow at all when it worked!
-
No thanks, just standard grey one is cool as all my other bits are that colour :) thanks for the reply though :)
-
Ok mate. I just need confirm something first - fuse 21 keeps blowing any ideas if this would affect the sunroof motor?
-
I have the exact same problem! Did you ever resolve? Can you also confirm if the sunroof motor runs off this fuse also?
-
Somehow managed to tear mine tonight!! Grrrr
This is the bit I'm after(attached)

I've got a Bonrath on mine, don't think it will give any benefit (apart from not melting and looking shiney)
Mine went straight on, PCV attached ok too with a bit of 'S' shaped samco hose...

My 2007 punto grande! Load of crap, 56k on the clock I've had to rebuild gearbox, replace clutch, failed 2 MOT's, 4 sets of pads. Burnt out heater motor loom, list goes on :)

Got any pics mate?

Cheers. I think I'll need take a closer look at mine and probably look into replacement parts (of available still)

I don't get the mobile theme at all anymore? :-) I love tapatalk but has a few annoying quirks, mostly around viewing attachments, or rather the lack of... Also been getting a few error messages prior to today with permissions / connection errors but that seems ok now!
-
I'll retest now, it's never worked well since it went live. Find myself using tapatalk more and more :-)
-
The mobile theme is dyer on my iPhone, really slow, pages don't load etc... Has this been updated as part of the upgrade?

i have a brand new one sat in my shed, i bought it for my mk2 VR conversion, i blew the old rad, bought a new one, then blew the heater matrix, by passed that to find the header boiling over, so suspect HG fail, the rad has just sniffed water and then was taken off for the car to be broken, it has a slimline fan fitted which will be removed otherwise as new, well it is lolbased in Preston, Lancashire

make an offer, no silly ones please
Hey mate. How much for this? (assuming still available?)
-
Took you long enough... lol :):D I've only just been well enough to fix it after spinal surgery, typically some nasty code was serving up malware on the site shortly after my op so had no choice but to shut shop until I could investigate further :-)

CTRL + F5 for me :)With this, and the VR6OC down I've had to actually do work, while at work. Thanks for all the hard work Andi[/b], sounded like you had a nightmare!
Vr6oc is back online too :)

Sounds like the mounting are shot, can you grips on them from underneath? There's always something isn't there lol. The bolts do look quite rusty to it's possible there's no thread where it attaches to the mount? Anyone have a photo of the parts associated with this or ETKA diagram please?
Cheers

Lovely old job. Tried unbolt my current ones today but the bolts kept spinning? Am I being a noob and missing a trick?
Microswitch inside sunvisor

I've been trying to find out why fuse21 keeps blowing and as part of my investigations I've found that the switch in the sunvisor is knackered, broken switch and loose wire, not sure if it's related but going to repair anyway... Does anyone know where I can get a replacement from? Don't really fancy buying a new visor!
Cheers
