mines a 2.0 16v im sure its that its doin my head in now need to drive it. it did it a month ago it took ages to start but then it was fine. oh well looks like £110 on a starter then

yeah just clicked on. :idea: so come on then someone must know somebody who has owned it. found a load of ccgb letters in with all the reciepts and some club stand stickers -

kind of a clicking the digital tripmeter reset aswell as the clock. tried to jump start and loosen it didnt work though

car wouldnt start on sunday after being fine on saturday night. think its starter? just wondered if there is anything else i should check before i spend £110? cheers

yeh the timing is set up properly it got done couple of weeks ago il check out the knock sensors this week after i have fitted my new starter motor itd just 1 thing after the other at the moment

cheers will do already had the lambda probe and the temp sender switch replaced but no luck

thera are 2 vw dealers within 20 miles of me so i rang 1st one quoting old part numbers no luck. rang second one he said oh vw are showing two left in the country so ordered them hope they havent gone when they order them or its £96 -
mine is doing the same passagner footwell soaked also the dash under trays under glove box are soaked. already changed inlet seal. the coolant hasnt moved since i bought it so think its the windscreen seal. will i have to change the windscreen or just seal? where can i get it checked out?

already changed the inlet seal because the floor was damp think il check the fan, dont think heater matrix is leaking its not using any water

how strange is this? was out in the c with the g/f and there was a cd that she wanted to borrow on the shelf under the glove box she picked it up and it was soaked. i had a feel and the whole shelf was soaked any ideas. oh and the water smelt dirty

just rang my local SEAT garage up they are the same as the arosa and cost: £25.55 + vat for each arm £16 a pair of blades so cheaper than vw -

thursday 22nd saw a mystic blue vr6 in kensington london. saw another mystic blue in kendal on saturday on new road it had m3 rear lights and dished wheels & a foreign plate tidy c tho. and yet another mystic blue on sunday going south on m6 near preston n*** cub

well took it to my local vw centre yesterday. he said the throttle switch wasnt working so he set it up along with several other things and didnt charge a penny. its running as it should now for the first time

i have what i presume is a standard alarm on my c. it says SERPI STAR on the fob it works fine. but wondered if i can wire it to work the central locking as i bought some passat rear handles to delock the front. any body no if this can be done by me or do i take it to a auto electrician and upgrade my alarm? looking for the cheaper option really. cheers

ok my 2.0 16v is running terribly. had a new lambda probe fitted last week which has done nothing about the problem. my timing is out, its pinking and the guy at my vw centre said they adjust automatically so it will adjust its self any help welcomed?
