    sorry to hear about what happened i have a dodgy heart too. got a defibrilator fitted in feburary if my heart stops or the rythm goes funny it shocks me back. get well soon

    agree with scarlett on paper the 1.8 is faster but whack a cam in and youd be surprised. also later body and interior

    yeh it should fit might be a tight squeeze tho. im sure the power would be more than the charged vr as well looks alot lighter too

    admiral have quoted me £821 on my 2.0 16v. im 21 with 2 years no claims that is with me and the gf fully comp. nowhere else could come near it

    today i noticed that when i take my foot off the acelerator there is a noise that sound like something is sticking and not settling like maybe the throttle body butterfly is stuck. any ideas?? cheers

    got home from work tonight and took off all the air pipes i had removed last night and reconnected them and the car started fine. my car pinks, shows high mpg 60 most of the time, has an erratic idle and when it started tonight the fuel pump didnt stop buzzing. is this normal???

    think im might just change the filter to see. its strange that its done it since i changed the ISV over and back again

    just tried to start again this moring it wnet to 500 revs the died and did this 3 times. does it sound like a fuelling issue or other??

    my 9A has been pinking sicne i bought it and has an erratic idle occasionally. i bought a second hand ISV off the forum and fitted it tonight. started the car and it wouldnt idle properly and kept dying. so i changed it back. also i took the vaccum hoses off to check for leaks. went to start it once finished and it wouldnt start. it was firing but not starting. the fuel pump has been quite noisy and it has been pinking more than usual so what could be the problem???

    good idea dr_mat, my battery drained til it died lasted 3 month still dont know why

    well thanks bumper is bent bad though hit a poor rabbit on motorway on way to RR day. looks good nice n clean and the wheels shine

    dont think so just need a new front bumper, think am gonna bget some smoke/ clear rear lights

    a few new pics just given it a wash. spec so far is: Alpine white 2.0 16v k&n panel filter, blueflame stainless system, side strips removed, colour coded handles, clear side repeaters, german plates. it has also been lowered 60mm on diamond cut estorils. managed 160bhp on the rollers @ stealth i was quite surprised for a standard engine

    hi welcome mine does a similar thing havent managed to solve it yet try cleaning the isv out.
