i am now having to put new connectors onto the wires for the back lights as they are still going crazy. does anybody know if the metal connectors inside the block are avaliable to buy. went to the stealer to see if they sold new block connectors with them in but only sell the black plastic bit. also can someone tell me how many wires should go onto each terminal as i seem to have too many?? cheers

its a double i checked that also did what h100vw said to no avail. the passanger side brake light works ok when i take the new bulb out. also found out when i put my hazards my side lihts flash woohoo!!!!!

dont know if this is in the right place but here goes.. my drivers side breaklight buld needed replacing on wednesday so changed it. yesterday i noticed that when braking my hazard lights are coming on instead of my breaks outside the car and also on the dash they light up when i break. another thing is that when i indicate both of the dash lights are flashing. also when i arm and disarm my alarm only the indicators down the drivers side light up. anybody have any ideas?? cheers

well i have had my timing done by the local vw specialist. i will clean them 1st then and see i guess this could defo cause the pinking. would the airflow meter cause pinking and the stupid intermittent high idling??

thought i should post some pics up its a 2.0 16v alpine white, getting the body work done after christmas along with some other upgrades

the pinking is just as bad whatever the temp. the timing has been checked 3 times. i think airflow meter looks like the culprit. il check fuel pump as well
