Well finaly sold the RX7 so means VW content inside ;)
ReekieVR replied to aposegil's topic in General Car Chat
Nice motor man. Good luck making it a sleeper with those wheels tho ! What were your gripes with the RX7 ? Why did you feel it was a dangerous car ? ( just link to the thread if its already been discussed !) -
Heated seats - removal of base element - help please?
ReekieVR replied to Irish Storm's topic in Interior
I have a buzzing relay, but had the offending seat out and thought i'd give it a go. I couldnt spot anything obvious and i had visions of the leather never going back on properly - so i chickened out and put it all back together  -
Um... any suggestions as to how to enforce the law then ? Perhaps the road rozzas should shout really loudly at offenders  Best bit of news today. (Other than hearing that Blair will resign if his aid is charged )
-
I rang Adrian Flux for a quote and they said they were the same company as HIC so the quote would be the same !
-
Um like this ..... ? original here

Its ok Jim, i figured it out - they saw this photo of you in the members gallery threads. Rekon id charge you 800 notes too
-
You could try putting an elderly relative on the policy - ive heard that can help. Maybe advanced driving course?
-
Thats weird Jim. Just completed the policy propa and I am on a classic policy with Kinetic. Seems that apart from age we are pretty similar. I payed ~ £780 on the Tiv with 0 yrs no-claims ! Your card must be marked.......
-
Just wanted to say - i got a quote from HIC today and it was the cheapest by far ! Plus there is more benefits than ever ! Renewal from Admiral was good at 290 with no frills. HIC came back with 265 , allows for mods, courtesy car, protected no claims. Great news. Well done HIC. Above based on full nc, 34 yo, no conv, garaged, 7k miles.

Hehe - i reckon that would be a great 'Trackday Challenge' !
-
Actually i dont carry the spacesaver in the chim, ill just whip out a can of foaming goo if i get a puncture. Apparently having a bicycle wheel on a TVR makes it nearly impossible to drive. Who would have thought ?!
-
wow - so if you take you car to an mot with a space saver on, it will fail, but a car with the spare on wont??? Why - whats the (legal) diff between the two wheels ?
-
Sheesh - and i thought this thread was about a 'lady' called Ariel ....
-
Plug and play for me please ( depending on price etc ). Available for testing if needed too.
-
Me too - i really dont want to cut anything and am prepared to pay for a quality product. Will keep an aye out for your thread in the suppliers forum.

Hallo and welcome !

Here is the link Tempest gave translated by google if anyone interested. Reading it gives me a headache tho : (Accordingly excited today the reactions were after becoming known the message. “The whole is a disaster”, said Maximilian bricklayer of the general German automobile club)

I am looking for a kit too Andy. I think there are a fair few people after one, so i'm sure it would be worth your while !

Had a similar noise a few months back and it was the arb. Tricky to spot though. Mine looked fine untill you stuck a screwdriver in there and gave it some leverage. Replaced both sides as a precaution. Still to get the alignment checked though - it has never felt right since !

The Chim zorst is meaty all the way through with no boomy / resonate bits ( its also got no pre or main cats and a fat bespoke manifold  ). The odd thing about the Milltek is that it often produces a low frequency very close to my sub rumble, and the two phase in and out at several speeds. One of the reasons i tried to soundproof the Raddo was because i liked it quiet. Was great with the standard but when i replaced it with the Miltek, i can hear it again ! TBH some people will like the sound that a ss zorst will give, and as i say its great from outside, but its just not what i was wanting.

I know this isnt a debate forum, but do you have a cite for this story, Mr Tempest?

Well here is the final spec: Aircon, no leather, 6 speed, cruise cont, 60k service done with cam belts, 16" alloys, 63k, 1 owner, fvwsh, oceanic green ( dark i think ). Its not an anniversary edition. Asking for £8.5k. Again, i looks / sounds ok, but its just market price. I may be able to get them down a bit, but after doing the research i think i am going to stick with the raddo. Maybe i would have jumped if there was a leather interior. cheers

Cheers for your help people and that is a great link Ryan S. Loads of answers - just what i was after !
