I had a test drive in the faster one (225?) loved the car but dont think i could live with the engine sound - kept laffing during the drive. It sounds like a sewing machine !
-
Dont suppose you fancy taking some pictures and making a how-to article do ya 3corsa ? I have same car and want to do the same jobs. Just not quite confident enough to do it....

I just spotted that Star Performance in Fife deal in both products so shall try there. I am sure they know the setup well. -

Hi Mystic Storm, dont know if we have met, but i am in Edinburgh too. I regularly see Dogzyboy on my way to work ( Murrayfield>Gogar>Dobbies>Mayfield ).

find a good one and it shouldnt need to much maintenance. the only problem i find is the lack of a cheap haynes type manual, but there are other versions around. Of course this forum is the best source of knowledge ! Just ask and you normally get exactly the help you need. Welcome !

but if i wait untill my oil is at 80 before ragging it ( which i always do anyway ) and my stat / fans dont allow the water temp above say 90, will my engine be in better nick than a normal one with water around 100 - 110 ? ( obviously ove many years and miles )
-
So in gerneral, would the health of your engine be mainained for longer, by running everything as cool as possible?
-
walesy , where did you get that 'receive bacon' sig pic? Its class.
-
I think you could if you got all the pipes etc out of the way 1st.If its an original housing though, it may not appreciate the extra stress of being messed with, plus even when the bolts are out, i think it was still a bast getting the thermo cover off. Just give it a shot, but be prepared for replacing more tha you bargained with !
-
fantastic. now i have to re-arrange my sunday !
-
Thanks for the update Andy. Just keep us in the loop dood !
-
You made that up ! :D I had heard, from a reliable source, that it was there to regulate the polarity of the isolinear processors and open a graviton wave in the aformentioned Raddo SRM ( speed reduction mechanism ).... :norty:

TBH, it looks similar to the yellow resistor next to the battery which drops the voltage for the side lights ( i think ? ), but why does the abs pump need one ?
-
Hehe - when i saw the thread title, i guessed it would feature the wierd spirally / resistor thing. Unfortunatly i dont know what it is, so can only help by bumping the thread. I really want to know too ... *puts kettle on*
