:oops: didnt take them off on the first go at it, but then took the whole brace to peaces (with them off) and it still needed a GOOD few tapes with a rubber hammer! but its in, looking great and really doing its job! took the C for a run out last nite and the improvment on handeling/cornering is fantastic (its even got rid of a few squeeks & ratles!).

GOT IT TO FIT :D now i just need to know how tight i should do it up?

so if i went for the raceland 6 branches and a decat for say 260 note would it be worth it? how easy would it be to couple the old cat back on to the new 6 branch for the MOT?

well if thats the case the hole bars about 30-40mm to long to fit between the strut housings (purple bit of the body)?!

kevHaywire, ive got a MAGNEX stanless from the cat back, so what make 6 branch & decat would i be able to use?

just tring to work out whitch way it fits on: if its this way (bottom pic) then the struts to long by 40mm! or if its this way (top pic) then it dosnt sit under the top of my coilover properly and im worried bout damaging it?

Bought a rear strut brace from trimsport last week and have just tried fitting it into my C but it dosnt seem to fit/sit where it needs to :mad: ! i really need some help with this, so if anyones got any pics or advise on fittin this brace or one like it id be REALLY greatful?

i was thinking bout changing my exhaust manifold, down pipe and de-cating but wasnt sure what ones to go for or if it whould match up to the rest of my exhaust?

kevHaywire, dont think id dare space the DZ's anymore! steve_16v, ok mate ill try the front discs, pad & hoses kit first (still 325 notes) and see how that gos, anythings got to be better than the squerm i got out of her braking the other nite!

well i think ivw worked out what i should be looking for from reading what you two have said, here gos: * mk4 rear calipers £65+£30 for conversion kit *braided hoses £82 *tarox G88 discs £175 front & £154 rear *ferrodo DS2500 pads £68 front & £66 rear rounded up to around £640 :shock: not cheep for just upgarding instead of enlagering?!?

i thought it would have been a relay or something, because it dose work (if only on 1) so the motor is going!? but ill give this a go and see what happens. thanks for the link and all mate.

the fan on my heater only seems to work on number 1, any idea why 2,3,4 dont work? i used the search but only found threads on heaters/fan not working at all!?
