  1. Got a pair of brand new Karmann ones spare which I bought before it closed. £25 posted
  2. Saw Warhorse at the flicks this week and thought it was outstanding. 9/10 well worth seeing it at the cinema.
  3. Think Wendy has summed it all up nicely! :) And everyone is welcome to join us on the day if they obviously join the CCGB on the day too due to the photo shoot option to make it fair to everyone else who is a fully paid up member. :) If you did this you would basically recieve your £10 back on the same day (weather permiting) as the club will be paying the £10 per car to park on the famous banked section of track
  4. Hi Rob, it was indeed hacked mate, sorry if it caused any hassle. hopefully all sorted now.

    Thanks!

    Paul

  5. I'd be tempted to replace them mate if you have only just got the car, am sure new ones would perform better.
  6. Ha Ha! love the tights issue, maybe it was to see how they looked tinted and they liked them that much they left them on lol! Loking good buddy, you'll apprecite the ride height when you get to my age :) dont drop it too much is my advise as they may look good to some but the handling could be terrible if overdone... Welcome along. Kip
  7. Hope the A Pillars are in good condition for you Pete, means a little cutting out and welding job if not i'm afraid to properly cure it. Good luck.
  8. Nice one Eric, better add myself to that list then lol! Be nice to have another stand there as last year was a great event :) Oooh it's on Bank Holiday Monday again! I think i prefer that as you know what that means! Curry and shenanigans Whheeeeee!
  9. Cost can be around £60 as you can do it through your insurance if you have windscreen cover. If not then expect around £500 or more. I recently had one fitted and the bill was £556.00 but I only had to pay the excess and that was with the company ogf my choice and a VW windscreen too. :)
  10. The rubber outer seal and the plastic covers are just cosmetic though buddy, it should be water tight without them fitted at all. If it's leaking the screen isn't sealed in correctly. No amout of squirting silicon sealant in is a perfect cure, it's just a bodge to sort it temporarily i'm afraid. I have been through this my self and had 7 screens fitted to all my fleet over the years so like to think i'm pretty knowledgable on this topic lol! ;)
  11. Hi Simon, We'll be there as usual. Can we have a stand please? Stand as follows, Chris Lees, Chris L Lukasz Kisala, Guildmage jim davidson, Blackrado1 James Taylor, Jim :) David Brunyee, Bruny timothy roylance, tim20vt Judith Hygate, Butterfly Chris Ferry, Lilfuzzer Eric Coolen, Tempest Steve McCoy, McDaddy
  12. I'd seriously be thinking about a new screen if its leaking that bad. It'll only get worse. There's a good chance you may have some corrosion under it. :-( Good luck sorting it.
  13. Yeah still thinking it isn't bad, total car purchase is £23500.00 so another 20k on top of that including the stuff i dont have invoices for aint too bad for 15 years :) How much are fags these days? £5.00 x 7 x 52 = £1820 Bloody hell smoking is just stupid then lol! can run 3 corrado's for less ;)
  14. yeah I didn't think it was that bad including 3 cars too. As said though I reckon they'll easily be another 4k on top of that with all the parts i've bought off here and ebay and the like but not worried about it, wouldn't have met Jude without them :)
  15. You are correct mate in that it would go straight on! cant remember if it is completely mark free but i'm sure it is excellent. been in a box in bubble wrap for 5 years lol! I'll get it and take some pics, probably easier to send them direct to you though so if you pm me your email i'll do it later ;)
  16. I have a spare one Matt but it cost me £100 5 years ago, been saving it but if anyone is happy to re-pay what i did then i'll sell it. I ended up with a brand new one off ebay that i paid a lot more for so hence this wasn't fitted but like it in the spares box if you know what i mean lol! Yours posted for £100. No obligation of course. Pics if you're interested.
  17. Well was bored on Sunday so decided to sort out all my invoices i've saved over the years, took nearly 5 hours just to put them all into dat order lol! Decided to add them all up today too, so far including purchase of the cars included my VR6 has cost just over £30642.92. My 8v just over £2645.00 & lastly my Nugget 16v around £4965.00. :) About £38k alltogether then lol! Plus I reckon theres easily another £3-5 unaccounted for which I dont have any invoices for but certainly remember paying. Happy Days!
  18. Lovely and as Jim say's recaro's too! not at all jealous lol!
  19. Yep standard is definately king in my books especially as it's so original and unmolested to start with, enjoy it for what it is. I have a VR a 1.8 16v & a 2.0 8v and love the 4 cylinder ones just as much and they certainly handle better too. Kip
  20. Ssshhh Dont tell everyone! :) Everyone is welcome so if you aren't a member you can still come along and see what you think before you join! However it costs £10 to leave the room lol! See you there ;)
  21. Hi Alex, Starting to think about the refurb on the VR now so are you still able to post these buddy? drop me a pm is so :) might be a couple of weeks but certainly want some. Regards. Kip
