  1. B*gger, got in the car this morning and the handbrake had frozen off.... not really a problem. Got to work, pulled into works carpark and for some reason thought it would be a good idea to see if the handbrake was now working. Well it was and it wasnt, it would let me put it on. But now doesnt appear to be releasing. Drove the car forward and back a bit and didnt seem to be dragging the wheels. So just hoping its release a bit by 4pm. :?
  2. Rossi_46 Try again[/quote:1qapg8w7] Yup done :salute:
  3. Man, i bet that was brown trousers time!
  4. I didnt realise the orange peel finish was from the factory. I've always thought my rado has had a bad paint job. Thats good to know really.
  5. I'd be up for that. I bought a GTi today though not the 1.4. To be honest i was unerwelmed by the Gti thought it would be alot faster, but then its just an excuse to tune it up :D
  6. I cant find this car on mine so must have not done the race Need to do the vw lupo races but you must win a lupo as its not in delaership[/quote:3ldc44rr] No mate you can buy a lupo from the used car dealer. I bought one today :D btw - look at my message above regarding your PSN ID?
  7. RE the full beam - when flashing someone :norty: its easier to just flash them by engaging the full beam switch and back off again.
  8. VR6Lee - is your PSN id infact Rossi-46 not Rossie_46? Couldnt find the latter, but did the former?
  9. Just took me and hour and half to go 8 miles. Didnt go over 15mph and constant stop start. The Oil temp even went up to 124 degress :? I work opposite a council gritting depot and saw the trucks going out, but when i got on the road to come home at 11am, the roads where terrible. Not even ploughed! :mad2: Oh and and a little slide towards the kerb, was only going about 5mph, but lost traction on a cambered bit of road and slid towards the kerb. No damage, luckily the pile a of snow on the edge of the pavement cushioned the impact of the wheels.
  10. Guys, can anyone give me a quick list of things needed to do the front and rear mk4 calipers? Is it simply the calipers and different flexi hoses? Can i use the same discs, pads and carriers?
  11. ah right, that explains that then Zip. I just figured out that i have to add cars to my favourites also. Dying to use my Lotus Esprit online  Yeah the karts are really fun. 8) Thats a point, i need some pics of the kart!
  12. Dave - i sometimes have to really pull hard on the door handle to get the door to open. Is this a symptom of an inevitable door handle failure? Cheers
  13. oooh nice fresh paint YUMMY! Looks cracking Jude, definately keep it indoors until better dryer weather! :D
  14. No mate, the F40 and DB9 are from when im getting licences. The Esprit is from the Used Car Dealer and ive upgraded it 8)

  17. arm bands, you planning on swimming?
  18. Well Toad, thanks for the advice. Managed to get he window out and even replace the rollers i bought from Alex on the GB. Gave me chance to clean all the green mossy crap from the bottom part of the window. I rubber is certainly sat better then it was, but was still a job to get it on. I used a bit of a wooden clothes peg to lift the rubber flap that sits on the outside of the car whilst pushing down on the inside. Did the trick i think - ive got a plastic ruler im going to give another go just to make sure its on fully. Though i have noticed, despite it looking better the top of the rubber scraper used to sit level with the top of the door card on the inside. Maybe half a cm higher, but now its nearer 1cm higher, but still lower then it was when it wasnt on correctly. Has the rubber design been changed??? odd Will do the drivers side once the better weather arrives.
  19. I ripped my 90mm splitter off last year due to the snow :( The 50mm hasnt had such a fate, yet. Driving to work today, mostly down side roads/country lanes wasnt too bad, just had to be careful and slow down using the gears. But I dont think i went faster then 25mph the whole way.
  20. Should be under tuning and drive train i would have thought. Though dont recall seeing brake options either
  21. Really? I think they look pretty sharp, unless its a pic where its meant to look like that. The BMW one for example. And yes, there is some bias towards the Skyline. there's like 40 variations of it :cuckoo: Shame really cos there's some cars that should have been in the game that arent. :mad2:
