Its noticably harder the standard, but not uncomfortable. Thats on 16s btw -

Quantum Gold is 5W/40 mate. If the engine isn't drinking it at a horrendous rate, there's no need to switch oils :D The main reason I use Silkolene 10W/50 is because of the looser bore tolerances of forged pistons and turbo bearings need a top quality lubricant. For a standard or lightly modified engine, demands on the oil are far less and therefore you don't need such a good oil, although I have found that if the engine is getting on a bit and using oil, the Silkolene really helps with that, reducing over-run smoking a fair bit. For high revving VR6s and forced inducton, 10W/50 Silky is definitely the way to go, or Millers CFS. Ah, thanks for explaining. No my engine is tight and doesn't drink barely any oil. Not even the amount quoted in the manual.

Im liking both those cars to be honest, especially the Lexus... YUM YUM! I take it the Lexus is a concept? The Zenvo's (odd name) gear stick is a little long  its like changing gear with a broom handle.

Or if they leave their pre-determined perimeter their head blows off like a well known Swarchenegger film..![/quote:2nf68q7j] I prefer to think.. BATTLE ROYALE! That'd sort these unruly kids out. Instead of a young offenders, take them to an obscure island somewh-...[/quote:2nf68q7j] You know what that would be a brilliant idea. Give them an island and let them get on with it. Screw Big Brother X facter etc. This would be THE reality TV to watch 8) -

I think you can use 'reasonable force' but everyones definition of that will be different and who stops to think how far they can go when they're being burgled!? No one! IMO if a burglar steps into your house, all his rights go out the window! FREE FOR ALL! -

Yeah a slipper to my ass did me now harm  Or how about all the kids wear collars where if they do anything wrong BAM!!! they get a small electrical shock! -
Yeah it holds the bearing to the cone shaped piece that sits ontop of the coilover spring. I think the nut is able to slip through the top mount - but thats neither here nor there. But if you tighten the nut to much you could destory the bearing, which is what i did. But also it could make it hard for it to turn.

Sorry, but if she wasnt wearing her belt then surely it was justified. In my opinion no one should be exempt from wearing a belt. Unless medical reasons. Reading the rights is just procedure. But i agree, there was no reason to breathalise her unless they had reason to and yeah health and safety has gone mad these days. As already said, there are no ral punishments these days. Kids as young as 9 committing crimes, its appauling. Bring back parental punishment, and the cane for teachers i say!!! -
Also the nut that holds the donut shaped bearing in place. Dont tighten it too much.

So Kev, you're a man with a bit of knowledge. Im always used Quantum Gold Synthetic 10W-40 in my VR. Would it be worth switching to the silkoline? Even if its about twice the price?

I find FWD cars handle better with the nose slightly elevated. A 2 finger job at the front and 1.5 fingers at the rear, or 2 girlfriend size fingers is about right. Or if you measure from the sill, 10-15mm lower at the back. If i raise the front by 20cm, would you A) notice its higher at the front and B) notice the difference in handling? I could do with setting it all up again on a completely flat surface tbh. -

I have the Toyo TR1s theyre good but wear quickly. -
If there's no hole anymore then i suspect its fuel burning off in the manifold/exhaust.

Yeah i set mine up to be almost sat level from front to back, then dropped the nose about 1cm. Dont want it to low though cos its a daily. I hit my sump the other week, where the buses had greated ruts in the road, so was raised in the middle. But also there was a bump so as the suspension compressed due to the bump. The knocked on the raised part in the middle.... luckily only seemed to take some paint off. :( Still not good though. -

Help On choice of corrado.... Please
Critical_Mass replied to Mr oemforyou's topic in General Car Chat
Coming from the man who is driving a VRT  8) Though yeah i'd disagree with that too, VRs these days arent the fastest car on the road, but they can still shift adequetly to keep me happy.... for now, then i'll put a turbo or supercharger on it! :D -
The sealant runs on the rear side of the inside arch near where the door meets the arch. You Can dig the sealant out but its a bit of a task. As supercharged said if you can heat it up and 'melt' it, that would be easier. Note thats theres another bolt at the bottom just under the sill.

311 works on mine. Also try changing the latency settings under control panel for the port. Change it to something like 5.

The problem i had, is i spent a full day measuring and adjusting on my drive. But ones it went for the geometry set up, each side was slightly different. This was because my drive obv isnt as flat as it looks. So unless the surface the car is sat on its absolutely flat you will always get difference. That was measuring the floor to the top of the arch, not the threads. i guess measuring the threads would make it even all round but i found they looked uneven when the car was on the ground. -

Forget a bout Leffe, its nice but try one of the non mainstream Abbey beers. The Trappists are v nice beers.... one of which is 10 % and knocks your head off, but tastes sooo nice! -
I thought it would have been the same bore size all round?
