No. Looking at the pic ive attached (ignore the fact its not a KW coilover, but its the same set up). The smaller spring at the top is the helper, which is in the same position as yours - sometimes they're put at the bottom but thats irrelevent. When the coilover is off the car it should be as it is in the pic. It should only compress fully when its on the car and the car is on the ground. Dont over tighten the nut holding the bearing, as i found out doing so will knacker the bearing. The weight of the car will keep it all together, the nuts just keep things in place when theres less load on the car e.g. going over a dip in the road. http://www.savagemotorsport.net/catalog/images/VogtlandCoilove20Suspension.jpg -
Or the scuttle panel drain holes blocked letting water gather in the scuttle (mine was a like swimming pool once). Water can the tip over into the fan vent grille on the passenger side.

Is your upper spring the smaller spring of the two? If so then yes this is the helper spring and is supposed to be compressed - its there to keep everything tightly in place when the car is lifted off the ground. -
Id be interested in the ramp extensions for sure!

The problem being that slower cars cannot take any sort of advantage with running less fuel (albeit more pitstops), now that they've brought this no refuelling rule in. So a team that has a slower car cannot run closer to the front because they all have this huge amount of fuel on board. Even if a slower car qualifies near the front with next to no fuel on board, they dont stand much of a chance once all the cars are filled to the brim with fuel - it will just go backwards down the field. Personally im hoping this no fuelling rule is axed after this season, but cant see that happening for a while yet.

 I assume you mean the 'tube' that michael shumacher has on his car to direct air over the rear wing? What i want to know is, why did Mclarens rear wing go to the scrutineers but this little device hasnt? Really looking forward to this race weekend! :D Yes, that tube/airflow thing... not sure where you got the idea that it's on the Mercedes, it's on the McLaren - you can see it poking from the top of the bodywork here: Ah yes i only noticed that in the qualifying. I thought it was on the mercedes cos i was watching the practice yesterday and they were talking about it on there and did say 'mercedes' not mclaren, also the camera was on the mercedes. I thought it was something different that mercedes had on their car. Good qualifying session today, im a bit disappointed with the mclarens performance through all 3 sessions. Hamilton did well to get into 4th, lets hope they have the car set up for the race and not so much qualifying... as suggested. I was suprised it wasnt a ferrari 1, 2. Been very impressed with Rosberg and Sutil even more so!

Hi Phil, they look good. Can the small piece that helps with clearance be moved up and down the slope of the ramp? Do those pieces come seperate as i have some metal ramps that arent used but the extra piece may help.

Had a similar issue with mine where the guage was always at about 70 but when stuck in traffic it would rise a bit, but then drop when on the move again. The bottom rad hose was warm and vagcom was reading higher then the temp guage on the dash. I changed the yellow temp sender and its now fine. Though it the guage was under reading, but as mentioned above the ambient temp can affect this. Since its warmed up a bit, the guage site bang on 90! As for the soot on the the tailpipe i dont think thats anything to worry about. If it was still running in cold start mode then it would really drink fuel. Take the car for a good run and then plug vag com into it. If the ECU reading on vagcom matches the guage you know there is a problem with either the blue temp sender or the thermostat - either will cause the ECU to run in cold start mode. If vagcom reading appears correct and is a fair bit higher then the guage, then the guage is at fault.

erm yes but its attached to the hub not the disk !! ah :salute:

Damnit - I watch Road Wars a lot.. typical I miss it and they have a Corrado on it :) There's quite a few corrados on Roadwars, if you watch it enough. I've seen maybe 4-5, only the white one has been stopped though, the rest are in the background or passing the camera

Even the fronts have cages dont they? Did you actually put an ABS cage onto the discs or did you not think of fititng the new discs with a new/old cage, as the discs dont come with them. I did this

Exactly, compare the 1 dodgy loom (relay) against the number you've sold! :D
-
Ah shweet! How you going to get them refurb'd? Stick to the original colour?
-
oooh i like the wheels. Think they would work quite well on a rado. Where did you pick them up from?
-
im sure your reputation hasnt been tarnished by the kur2y, its not your fault you were supplied a dodgy relay.

Yup being covered a hell of a lot. But to the point - get the tt arms and 2x tt drivers wipers. End of. Words great! :D

I use a odour neutraliser air freshner and it really does work. But does also have a nice smell to it.

Anyone else find the Green stuff pads VERY dusty. They brake great compared to the standard pads i had before but they just cover the wheel in dust.. to the point the dust is hard to shift.

I can JUST manage to get my hand in for both sides just to start screwing it in. But im am a small guy so my hands will be smaller  Magnetic screwdriver will help also.

Pretty much mate, get a polish thats a little more abrasive and give it a good polish.
-
Indeed. Plus all the speed is relative anyway.

To be fair we'd moan if they didnt salt the roads and then we got some ice/frost  But i do hear what you're saying, it just means you havce to wash the car a little bit more frequent. It was only yesterday that i washed the car to get the muck off.

I think im your opposite  Schumacher obviously feels he has something to prove other wise he wouldnt have come out of retirement. I also feel it may not be as easy for him as some may think it will be. Hamilton to win championship for me, followed by button. But i think in reality it will be a battle between Hamilton and Alonso. It should be really good! Schumacher will be scapping with Massa and the redbulls. But i do think the redbulls or Vettel at least will get some wins.
