  1. Just watching Road wars now on Sky3.. cops had stopped a woman in a red cavalier. A blackberry Corrado went passed! :D
  2.   Well done Joe, all the blood sweat and tears have paid off! :D
  3. A bit harsh there Phil :? I trust you're in jest Critical - the guy is clearly a total menace to society - and anyone who can't perceive that needs some education/thought process retraining! Sorry about being so outspoken at full volume - stuff like this just gets to me. :brickwall: yes was in jest :D
  4. The importance of getting an agreed valuation. Agreed, although check into the small print very thoroughly. Many agreed valuation policies aren't worth the paper they're written on and / or have too many clauses, for example, with some policies you will only get the agreed value pay with claim goes non-fault ONLY. If you have a 50/50 claim (the most common claim!) or it goes your fault, you will only get market value. The brokers never tell you that during the policy inception, so be careful. oh dear... best check the small print from HIC then :?
  5. heh thats not as bad as i thought i'd see (currently £26). I'd pay that, cos i know they're hard to get hold of. Though i doubt they'll stay at that price :(

    MPG

I would imagine if the fuel filter is restricting fuel, there would be more of an adverse affect on the running then just bad MPG
  7. It is blank on UK cars, its for something temperature related on cars in colder climates. Cool. It doesnt matter then that my plug fell of and disappeared somewhere.
  8. For £45 brand new mate we'll let you off with the 'shameless plug'
  9. I've got that problem, but it looks like just one wire in the wrong slot. I tried for ages to get the pin out to put the wire and pin into the correct slot but couldnt work out the mechanism holding it in place. One bit of plastic slides sideways to allow it to move but it wouldnt budge. Better just cutting the wire and putting a new pin on, then sticking it in the right slot you think? Shane[/quote:1cl098l2] Yeah i tried for ages to get the pins out, apparently they DO come out but i couldnt do it. Its prob easier to just get some pins and a new block and rewire it tbh... thats what i found anyway.
  10. Now that looks badass! 8) need pics of tank too! :D
  11. In that case, try the snipe nose pliers as mentioned above :D
  12. This maybe a daft question. But wouldnt the correct plug removal tool fit over the top of that?
  13. :D Oh the problem i had was on the original iso blocks in the car the perm live and switched live were the wrong way round the ISO block. So i had to buy another along with the metal pins and rewire it. But i'm sure you'll find that out when you go fit it if it resets itself.
  14. Thats def the crank case breather as said above. I dont even have a valve on mine, just a S shaped bit of of pipe. By the way, can anyone tell me what the plug at the top of the pic is for as the connection it plugs into on mine appears to be a blank - there's no pins in it. However the actual clip with the wires on as fallen off  But dont get what it would be for?
  15. Halfords sell all sorts of different ones mate. They should have what you want. Failing that look here - http://www.nexxia.co.uk/Car_stereo_spar ... s/sony.htm
  16. I would have said aqua blue or dragon green. Though i'd also have said Blackberry. 1, Aqua blue 2, blackberry 3, dragon green 4, satin silver 5, ice grey or bordeaux pearl
  17. That is very impressive! 8) 8) 8)
  18. Ditto, thanks alot nath! Gone straight on my car keys! 8) How do you want payment paypal, bank transfer, cheque?
  19. really?? mine is smooth as silk thats one of the main complements I get about the car  Mine was really smooth as well... Up until something blew up last week and now not running right at all.[/quote:3qh91byx] I wouldnt say its as smooth and flat idle as other cars ive been in. Mine, even when the engine was new has always idled a bit lumpy, the revs themself dont move as per rev gauge but what you feel through the body of the car isnt that smooth. it was the same on the engine that was in the car when i bought it, that was a little worse but i put that down to it burning oil
  20. To an extent he's accountable but as already said, death by dangerous driving and banned from driving?! Why is he accountable at all? Are we not all responsible solely for our own actions? If someone I know turns out to be a paedophile am I then guilty of that as well? Even being considered guilty of an associated offence would be wrong in my view. We each decide our own actions and make our own decisions and should stand by them whether they be good or bad. Do NOT believe that he has done anything wrong at all... I would go as far as saying he is a victim of the drink driver in that he has gone through the trauma of the accident because some selfish ar$e decided that drink driving is ok for the night... Far from being charged with anything he should be claiming compensation (yes yes I know compensation culture etc and I disagree with it but am making a point here ok!). I would say he's accoutable up to the point where he asked his wife to drive knowing she was drunk, although as i said in a previous post, he should have had the sense not to ask her (and even more sense not to get drunk in the first place). IMO if he'd not asked her to drive and she'd got into the drivers seat on her own accord then he wouldnt have taken any blame.
