  1. Sounds like worn piston rings, but as i said its not that high mileage
  2. Yeah thats right its about a litre, if not spot on a litre between thge max and min marks. 100k isnt a lot for a VR, strange that its burning oil.
  3. Aye, thats what i was told by adrian flux. The original after market alarm (Quantum) on my vr had been made obsolete as far as the insurance went. So i had to get a new one fitted. I had a new to the market Autowatch 475i CAT 1 alarm fitted and sent the certificate off to the insurance. They gave me a shock when they sent a letter saying this isnt a CAT 1 alarm. Apparently it was that new it wasnt on their CAT 1 list
  4. They will ask if your car gets nicked.. Ive been asked various times. Only once have i not. What insurance company is it?
  5. They will possibly require for it to be checked out by an alarm specialist. Give the insurance a ring and ask. Never known for an alarm to have a annual check for it.
  6. Yeah the F40 just for pure performance 8)
  7. Nice one! YEAH WE NEED MORE CODES!!!!! Hub where did you get your code from? I still haven't got round to getting it yet, the code I had was from the main Wii menu, didnt realise it would be different for the game  I'll hopefully be getting it at the weekend and post my code up then :) sounds like I am missing out :([/quote:15pim4ka] Good stuff! :D I've been addicted to the multiplayer vs races... excellent fun 8)
  8. Nice one! YEAH WE NEED MORE CODES!!!!! Hub where did you get your code from?
  9. dont remember voting before (!?) but i must have done. But have different car different engine. Mine has a tad over 4K miles on the clock 8)
  10. A Bit harsh.... But possibly.
  11. Mines exactly the same and i suspected and was also told the inner joint is on its way out.
  12. Besides, it was for a 92 reg, thus it not being a requirement at all!
  13. That's exactly one reason i arent too fussed about getting a newer car. They're all boring outside and boring inside. No new car excites me enough to want to go buy it over owning the corrado. They also dont seem to be as well built as older cars - when they were new. Even something as simple as changing the bulb you have to go to the dealership to get it down due to how awkward the manufacturers make it to do the little things that you should be able to do yourself. They all seem to like using these torx screws to make the job harder (??)
  14. How much was the cv joint and where you get it?
  15. Added you awigman, couldnt add you though Hub. Im Gaz.
  16. Hi all, As you may or may not know, i have recently bought a 6 branch manifold. I was going to heat wrap it with something like Cooltek. However i may now instead get it ceramically coated. I have just one price list below as an example. I didnt realise there were different 'groups'. Any idea which group i should be going for. Obviously its going to be the for the V6. Anyone else had this done already and which group i should go to. What kind of temperatures would be going through the manifold? http://www.camcoat.u-net.com/Exhtprices2002.htm Thanks
  17. £20 from amazon sounds a good deal, is that including the steering wheel? Only seen it for around £32-£35
  18. Ok if you're a seller you'll want as much as possible for the car and as cheap as possible if youre a buyer. But we all own the car for what it is and not for what its worth! Let's face it, i for one wont make nowhere near what ive spent on it and im not alone in that either. So who cares what they're worth... really?
  19. I had a pleasant suprise when i got home, Mario Kart had been delivered :D So heres my code - 0774-4563-7635 GET YOUR CODES POSTED! :D
  20. HA alot more motors there then where i went. Though they did have the rally school too. But it wasnt in an Impreza or anything just a old sierra or something like that. I got mine at Driveme.net.
  21. Yup shelled out for the 4 pictures and 1 print................They sure make some money but I dread to think how much their insurance and public liabitity would be  They instructor did say they had over 2 million pounds worth of cars on site  What other motors did they have? The one i went to they had, a lambo - cant remember which one, porsche 911 turbo, 360 modena, astin martin db9 and lotus exige. A few groups of people where having a go in 3 of the above, which i wanted to do. But you were looking at £300+ though i suppose it would have been worth it.
  22. Nice one! I had the 355 experience day, but would have loved to have had a go in the 360 modena. Again 3 laps isnt enough is it! :( I didnt want to stop. Did you get a framed pic and a cd after? They were a bit pricey but felt if i didnt get one id regret it.
  23. Glad i wasnt the only one, Im too polite to say THAT DOESNT MAKE SENSE! Ali - can you reiterate that for all of us please?
