Lol, the bass makes the rattles worse :D Anyone know how to pull out these vents? Surely its not the vents them selves. More the blower?
-
WTF, how did they manage to do that?

You mean this? (Attached) Looks like a mondeo copulated with an aston :( EDIT: just saw the date on that pic (D'oh!), so its probably not the one you had in mind :( http Yeah tahts the one Cardboard. Not sure if i like it or not tbh. The rocco looks better, though biased opinion -

Anyone seen the new Capri Ford have brought out? Looks strangely similar to the new rocco -
I was going to get a set of these from Stanford Hall. But left it too late :( His card says he has an ebay store but there's nothing on there.

Kev - Ok just taken a look at the car. The n/s is slightly more out at the bottom to the o/s. Also took a spirit level to it, the bubble is almost spot on in the middle, to one side ever so slightly, which will be the camber. However the otherside is way out, the bubble is to one side. So that confirms the wheel is in at the top and out at the bottom, hence the wearing of the inside of the tyre. But.... What now? Do i get it bent back to shape or replace the whole axle (hope not)?

Was gonna say, i have just bought a caliper and its different to the original. Still it fits and works ok though so didnt make a fuss. So its a late and early caliper.

The bloke at garage said they will do it spot on and highly recommended the company that was doing the geometry, and i know i can trust his word. The shocker is new, albeit only a cheaper fk shock and spring setup. But i wouldnt have expected it to have gone already! ill check to see if its leaking asap. Is there anyway to check if the rear axle is bent? Take it back to the guys who set up the geometry? Not gonne be happy if it is the rear axle. Another thing to note is that the car look slanted a bit, lower on the n/s rear, and i think the gap between the arch on the tyre on that side is bigger then the o/s i thought it was the shocker not settling as well as the o/s.

Corrado Advice Please - looking to buy

Theres a Blue VR for sale in the forsale section - £1800 -
They dont work anymore? Seriously.... If you hear them grinding - metal against metal, get them changed asap. You can look through the alloy wheels to see the pads.

Thats quality, very 8)

Thats great! I've got to buy another model to mod :D I can feel a 'show us your modded 1/18th corrado' thread coming on :D

Rear window seal and boot seals. Not sure about replacing seals around sunroof, cant see why not.
-
Cheers guys making me feel loads better  wrote one off years ago. DIdnt realise they were rare, my first rado too 8)

Same issue as mine, Slides fine, just really slowly like, as you've said, the rails its on are too tight round the sunroof sliders. I even tried a little grease in the rails, but no difference.

Other then it sounding any quieter (less rattles)???
-
Glad to hear that. Thanks Mr Cheesewire :D

Ditto - forgot to get rid of Aguri.

How hot was the water? Is the aux water pump shagged? (quite a few are and they're not cheap to replace). If it's not getting stupidly hot, then I wouldn't lose sleep over it. The water temp was no higher then it should be running, no more then 110. The water pump was replaced in January, whilst the engine was out. The temperature is fine even when im pushing it. So as you've said, its not worth losing sleep over :) Just wasnt sure if it should come on after the engine was switched off. I guess ill see if the days stay hot.

 i did! Pistonheads isnt showing any pics for me (??) strange

The corrado fan should come on for up to 10mins after ignition is switched off too? My previous 2ltr 8v rado did that, as did my G60. My 93 Vr has never had the fans come on after engine has been switched off, even after giving it some beans before hand. Potential problem, or how it should be? Nice write-up Dom, thanks!
