  1. NO NO NO... if the corrado esp the VR had a low fuel buzzer, id have gone insane by now. It would go off too much
  2. £102 plus VAT that is daylight robbery!
  3. Which lights 3Corsameal, rear or front? I dont like the front too much either if they were the ones you were on about, prefer the chrome inpros myself. Those rear lights look mint, i would say that though cos i have them too  liking the inpro fogs and indicators too!
  4. Godo stuff. I will be giving you a call closer to the time!
  5. Hi Tim, Is this going to be a permenant thing, as my insurance isnt due til sept and would be interested what you can offer me!
  6. Aye, thats why im gonna wrap it. Gets too hot without this manifold.
  7. I will be getting a supersprint to go with it too though.

    Heater

bypass valve? Im sure someone will correct me, but it sounds to me like the garage advised you to bypass the matrix itself, thus no hot air?
  11. Yeah my main concern is the heat, the VR lump runds hot as hell as it is.
  12. what conflict Goldie and what fitting issues? I can see getting the bolts off the oem mani and the cat being a PITA! :gag:
  13. Sorry meant pics. Mark_storm - how are you getting on with the Raceland manifold, any fitting issues? I was thinking of changing the studs to bolts, should i bother or should i just replace the studs with new studs. If i do swap the studs for bolts, will they need to be special bolts and does anyone know what they need to be torqued up to either way?
  14. Tried to get some close up pics of the welds but they werent very good :(
  15. Nice one! How's the abs sensor being smashed? Good luck getting it out. I want to replace my fronts to see if it makes my light go out, but cant get the buggers out of the carrier. :s
  16. Didnt realise you got points for parking offences, just the fine.
  17. Parking offence, what kind of parking offence?
  18. Use it as a daily, i want to use it as much as possible! :D I would garage it if i could, But its kept safe on the driveway. I voted 'Both' but im not 100% sure why thats on the poll as if i use it as a daily driver doesnt that include summer and weekends?
  19. Ill post some pics when i get home. Im no welder so wouldnt really like to comment on them. But look ok from what i can tell. Sorry i forgot to add above that he had another fitted to his corrado already, hence the 'It sounded nice' comment
  20. did you manage to sort this or at least find out where the squeak was coming from?
  21. BLIMEY! Spoke too soon. Thanks for the reassurance from guys. I thought i would have been silly, but didnt want to have upset anyone at any point. I will do whats been said in regards to the heat wrap, also read somewhere that its best to soak it in water first? Where do you get this lockwire? I got the 6 branch off of pistonheads (link below) from a bloke who lives in Keighly. Had a ride in the bloke's VR6 who was selling the manifold. Sounded nice. I think the make is Raceland, not ever heard of them so dunno if its a good make or not. But £160 notes for it isnt bad, and itll be better then the OEM manifold and downpipe thats currently on as its blowing. The weight of the oem manifolds and downpipe is astonishing, it weighs so much more! http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/389600.htm Anyone had any problems getting the heatsheild bolts off the old manifold. I couldnt shift them due to the sockets i had were either too big or too small due to there being a round ring ontop of the nuts (??) never seen ones like it before. A size 12 spanner was too small and the 13 was too big. Though i dont need to remove the heatshield to take the manifold off but allows easier access. I suppose i could get my trusty dremel out and cut them off. But thats a last resort. Plus ill be getting a supersprint cat back in the next week so may just get it all fitted at the same time. Cheers guys Gaz
  22. Hi Toad, The plugs are bosch plugs, would that be a factor? The leads are ones the the garage, where the engine was fitted. But i have tried different ones and still got the same result. Though it only appears to be maybe one or 2 of the leads that are arcing not all of them. I may try some VW leads but dont want to fork out the ammount that are wanted for them, any others recommended?
  23. lo mate, The coilpack seems fine in regards to arcing. But to be more specific its actually in the sparkplug/spark lead 'holes' its arcing. There is metal cap on the end of each lead, like most if not all. Ive tried insulation tape to stop it but it does work brilliantly. I do have the removal tool, but the leads that i have fitted dont allow the tool to fit properly e.g. the diameter of the lead cap is too big.
  24. How do you cure that other the get new leads. Had the new VR lump since Jan and have noticed it arcing and thats with new leads. It also did it on the old lump and with the older leads?
