Sorry mate, cant tell you exactly what they're like as i've not fitted them yet. But im positive they'll be better then just lowering springs.
-
Doesnt vagcom work on G60's but only checks the abs, which is what you want, but no good if wires dont go anywhere. I had problem on my VR, turning ignition off then back on and light would go out. Though problem seemed to sort itself out as the light comes on when engine is started and stays off. Possibly a stone or something stuck in one of the sensors?

Hello mate, Someone else on here (dont remember name) asked about these very ones and were told they would do the job. However, if using standard shocks the springs will probably will just knacker the shockers. I have just got myself a set of these (bargain price too) - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... %26fvi%3D1

Nice work RDH! Isnt the blue white wire the amp reamote for the stereo? http://www.the12volt.com/request/request2.asp

Sorry to hear that gixxer.Hope you find the **** that did it!

Welcome mate! Nice ride 8)

I think i've got one of these "mysterious" connector blockes behind the dash too. But mines a 93 Vr. It'll be interesting to know what its for.

OK figured it out, with a little help. Jim - the circlip needs prising apart and put onto the lower grooves. :D just for your future reference.
-
Ah beg your pardon then, i got it wrong. Sorry new to this uprated suspension lark. Ill have a look to see if theres a way for it to come off. Cheers for the replies Jim. Oh and i'm hoping to get this lot fitted this weekend, so hopefully will be able to tell you how it looks, though not rides cos car is off road until next month. They have 2 lots of these springs left. Cheers Gaz

One on left is the front, Right is the rear. The circlip is on the front shocker and the rear doesnt have any obvious way of adjusting??? Theres only a ring on the rears, but only goes so far down due to it resting on the metal going around the shocker? (confused). The circlip will come off the fronts when i come to fit them, right?

BUMP.....

You tried setting the alarm then opening the door/starting the engine, see if it goes off?
-
I can hear the sound of the ol' "VR or G60 debate" coming down the road....

Hi John, Nice to see another Corrado owner in the Leeds area. The part youre questioning just looks like a "normal" ignition switch to me, not a starter button kit. Dont know what the cig lighter fitment desciption is about though. PS - is that a sherry rado you've got there? keep a look out for a Bordeaux pearl VR around Leeds

The ECU is just fastened onto a bracket which in turn is attached to the body of the car. I think there's only a couple of bolts holding it on mate. Once undone you, then need to just slide it towards the pass front wing to release it from a peg thats also holding it in position. Bingo! ECU out.

That's not what i wanted to hear :( still its not like im selling mine HA!
-
Bad luck mate, even worse with it being a new tyre :( How bad is the rim, or was it literally just a nip?
-
Noticed it aswell mate, werd. The one going for a smidge under 3.5k was suprising imo. Even with 130k on the clock (which we know isnt high) was still cheap as, albeit needs a tiny bit of TLC.
-
Correct me if im wrong. But i think Junkie was saying, how much have you got to spend?

UPDATE- Right, Fk suspension kit came today. Really fast delivery, friendly service with good comms. I've ordered some rear and front bumpstops from GSF. Anything else ill have to buy to fit the shockers/springs or can the old bits be used for the new shockers and springs? One last thing, the rears are adjustable, but cant see how you actualyl adjust them, anyone got a set of these already who can enlighten me? Sorry for the n00b Qs. Gaz

Welcome to the forum matey! :)

ROFL I can relate to a few of those, especially this one - Haynes: Lightly... Translation: Start off lightly and build up till the veins on your forehead are throbbing then clamp with visegrips then beat repeatedly with hammer.
-
Will do Jim. Dont know when i'll get round to fitting them, But when i do i'll let you know.

Glad you think so :D :D and a bargain at £150 inc p+p
