ok, i know this thread hasnt been used for a while, but i still need info. This is the update, i pulled the spoiler button out (dont ask why i didnt think to check before) and i made sure the plug was in properly, it looked it but i made sure anyway. The spoiler actually now works manually. I went for a drive and got it to 45mph but the spoiler didnt raise. Any ideas? What could have broken due to the accident? Cheers guys

Yeah all the bolts seem to line up. its fitted ok apart from the corners where they hook onto, bumper seems to sag rather then be up against the arch. The thing is that the fog lights arent flush with the bumper, theyre set in slightly, which would indicate that the bumper is an early one. Which doesnt explain why it doesnt fit properly. Does anyone have a pic of an early and late bumper to compare the fogs and indicators (see how they sit in comparison to mine)? Whats the width of the early and late bumpers?

Will a late front bumper fit an early model with no probs. Just that I fitted a different bumper to my c and where the bumper hooks are jsut before the arch (round hooks slide into bumper) dont seem to fit properly? Was wondering if it could be a late bumper thats the problem, if late ones on early models can cause a problem. Cheers

Any pics of the roof up? steve_16v, that looks like a monster. I agree bumper looks terrible. Always been in 2 minds whether i like the convertable or not. Hmmmm.... looks better then the 'rado "estate" though.

I have that same prob mate with the idle. Drops to 500rpm ish and then back up to rest around 800-900rpm. So why its doing that i also would like to know. Jabba have adjusted the CO pot for me but its still doing it

All that needs to be done is to pull the ECU towards the left (as you are facing it) and it should slide.

I thought that was illegal too, Or is it just highly shund upon? Done it before myself (when coppers werent heading towards me) but I did think you could get pulled for it even if its just for a harsh words. Dont cops see it as obstruction or something like that :lol:
