hi just wondered if mk2 golf coilovers will fit on my g60? ive been offered some mk2 coilovers at a good price and wanted to know if i should go for it or not? cheers (and sorry for the possibly stupid question!)

mine cost me £1600 and was in good condition. only 200 sports made iirc they are pretty rare but come up all the time. i know some people paid alot less. just depends on if the current owners know what they have. definately not worth £7k though!!!

make sure the numberplate is securely on as if it vibrtes it makes a horrible noise and people laugh at you. its really easy to overlook that (i did when i first got a sub in mine) makes a huge difference (and people don't think its a nova coming)

that should be cool then. i'd keep an eye out for a 4 channel personally as it should give better sound and variance (depends on what you want though) good luck and i hope it sounds cool kelvin

if you have a 4 channel bridgeable amp you should be fine. if you still have the box or instructions for the amp (might even say on it) to find out the power it can handle you could do some maths and get it running sweet (or do what i did and just plug it in a play with it till you're happy)

Hey i've been offered some audi 18 x 8.5 tt wheels for my c will they fit? or are they just too big? would i need any arch mods? i have yet to lower it so its standard at the moment. has any one done this before? would you go that big on your wheels? cheers
