  1. i narrowly avoided dougal but i,m afraid thare was no chance for zeb! oh and no ive not set the springs too low,i,m just wondering if its axle movement? i,l have to check the mounts again then get onto the manufacturer if no joy!
  2. just wondering if anyone can help on this one? i recently fitted fk highsport coilovers to my c i,m happy with em but they make a poing noise when coming of a kerb for example, only from the rear! i remember when i fit them there was no compression on them, only when the weight of the car sits on them. could i have fit them wrong or could it be my axle bushes creating the noise? i,m changing the bushes next week, any help gladly appreciated!! thanks
  3. thats what i,d considered. but i have heard stories of the trailing arms sagging could that be it?? who knows? im gonna have to get under it at weekend and get it sussed!! is it a scrap yard job to replace the stub?or are they available? heard they sometimes need shimming?? my heads spinning!!

  7. just wondering if anyone has experinced or knows why my c feels vague at motorway speeds? its hard to explain but it feels like its being pushed around by the wind. oh and it wasnt windy at all! it seems to wander and its not a pleasant sensation! could it be as simple as bushes? also the camber on the n/s rear wheel is different to the o/s its more upright where the o/s seems to squat(negative camber i beleive) its lowered on fk coilys and has 17s on any advice is much appreciated as usual!! thanks

  21. had the caliper in bits on my lunch break today and copper slipped all the runners etc,the caliper went together quite smoothly, they dont seem to be binding at the mo but only time will tell! i,l have to price up 16v calipers this week in case all is not well!

  23. hi! wondering if anyone can help with this one? just got the c back on the road today, and went for the obligatory run round town.noticed a strange smell on the way back in pulled up,got out and checked the wheels(burnt rubber/paint)smell coming from the drivers side wheel the wheel was mad hot and the caliper paint bubbled the disc doesnt appear to be warped, and isnt all shades of blue. ive just refit it with brand new discs and pads, and the calipers seemed in great nick when refitted, slipped straight on! any help on this one urgently needed and as always appreciated!!! thanks!
  24. i,l be very interested to see how your project goes!! i would like forced induction on my valver also, very tempted by the g60 rout and turbo also. was told that the turbo conversion for the 16v is no longer available, hence my great interest in your project. really want to keep mine a 16v as thats how it started life.plus turboing it/charging it would be a little different to the 20v path the best of luck with your build!i,l be watching attentivley!!
