Went to Joey's to do an oil change on his car. He handed me this: Im surprised how detailed the model is. The engine bay is all correct, even the subframes are correct!! Oh and I ground down the welds in by bay a bit more... starting to look really good -

Bart came up to the shop to help for a bit last night. He is a badass with the welder  The tool with the tool Then we went out to get some food and beer. After we were eating bart found some place next door. Awesome business name! So back to the shop to do a bit more work: Seam sealer behind the strut towers is a pain to get to Grinding on some welds and then bart took over with the welder agian for some more fun :thumb right: Then he fixed the my horrible welding where the carbon canister used to be... he cut out that whole section and welded in a new piece Mean while I pounded out the dent in my firewall, need a bit more work but its much better. Also got rid of most of the raintray remenants -

I didn't really do alot this weekend. Mostly cleaned at the shop and taught my buddy ben how to polish the proper way. But all the tar board is removed from the rain tray area. And most of the adhesive is too. Saturday I did a photoshoot for NOS energy drink. now THAT was alot of fun. I love being a photographer -

Now your starting to sound like rento... can you help with my lower radiator hose??? :cuckoo: The dash is out of the car along with most of the wiring. The carpet and insulation is pulled back to the seats. It will be fine to weld on. Will post vids from the new camera mounts today :D -

So I had one hell of a weekend. :) Friday night I ran to harbor freight after work to pick up some suction cups to make a camera mount for the car: Then the thermostat in the bimmer decided to get stuck and was overheating when we were driving out to take some video. Russ did 100+ on the way back to the shop without the cameras falling off  Saturday I went and test drove an A6. I think I am in love with that car now. I never imagined a car that large could feel so sporty and so planted. It felt smaller than the GF's Jetta when i was driving it too. :cuckoo: So sunday with a hangover I went to the shop and got rid of the rain tray. I still have a few more spot welds to get rid of, but it is pretty much gone. -

USPS sucks with loosing packages... but at least they don't drop a fully built 4wheeler engine on the ground and crack the crank case like UPS did  took over a year to collect money from them for that incident. -

had ben try to help me take out the rear glass... He got the bright idea to just push on it a bit... So I cleaned up glass for about an hour and cleaned my cuts from it :gag: so with that said done, and out of the way I shaved the rear wiper hole -

Since this set has a dual master on the brakes I shouldn't need the booster either. It has a balance bar built into it but I would probably set it close to even pressure and then use the proportioning valve on the rear beam still. (yes they were on US cars until about 96 when they moved to TEVAS 20 ABS units that controlled the proportioning.) The reason for it is if the rear suspension is on full down travel it should only allow for minimal rear braking. Since I would be driving the car on the street and not the track for the most part if I get into an emergency braking situation I would like the car to respond as close to stock as possible.

what did you wire to? I have pinouts from reading the bentley to wire directly to the fuse block since I am hiding all of my wiring in the frame rails And I have a good N/A VR6 base tune to start with since the throttle bodies wont be done right away. :( -
its more to help clean up my bay. It would be a way to get rid of the brake booster and get a bit more presure on the calipers. Dynalites are 130 USD over here per caliper If anyone has some designs for a bracket to fit the VR6 plus suspension they want to share, I wouldnt mind that ;-)

I might have to IM him about the EGT stuff. I have been researching ITB's for the VR6 for over 2 years. Grant motorsports in the UK sells a kit, but you have to cut your hood to fit them :cuckoo: Personally I will be going more for something similar to what big Ron did on his mk2 and then on his mk1... I met James from fourseasontuning last year when I was in California. The guy is a blast to hang out with. I have spent so many thousands of dollars with him... He has always gone out of his way for me also. I needed nissan parts for my moms pathfinder last year and he even got those for me! Actually will be calling him later today to get prices on some stuff  -

It can take the EGT signal, but im not sure how it implements with the fueling needs... Time to do some research on that. It would be really simple to implement into the MS box just run a signal input from the EGT box to the MS harness on a spare pin, and jumper the pin on the board. Yeah I have been eyeballing a set of Jenvey's for a while but I need to get rid of my current stuff first. Trying to get a buddy with a bimmer to buy them as they are perfectly spaced for his car :D I completely see what you are saying about Local suppliers. I feel the same way about some companies on this side of the pond, if they can't deliver quality then eff em! I have a few parts from Scott, the man makes great parts and knows his stuff! Schimmel really does cater to his customers. Christian @ EPP does as well. He is trying to get me a wiechers show bar over here and keep the shipping cost as low as possible. He is going out of his way for me! -

My problem right now is getting some products from the UK... My ITB setup will not fit in the car, so I am looking at jenvey throttles now instead. Pricing is OUTRAGOUS in comparison to what I have now. and if you can get ahold of it snow performance makes a really nice setup for meth injection: http://snowperformance.net/ Not sure if they will ship to the UK though. My ECU doesn't really have control over the EGT's but I do have meth control built in.
