  1. Only joking................so does ours and I reckon we'd be ton plus except for the years I spent away from the UK and wifey having 3 cars to run
  2. 80K jesus...........................mine is 9yrs and is still well in the 70's
  3. Very good buy looking at the pics. Told my bro about it and he sent Too Hot a mail that evening but you got there first, we were going to travel up from Swindon thats how good we thought it was. Would have been my second trip to Scotland to get a Corrado as I bought one from Edinburgh.
  4. Nice words Gareth........I understand the decision and you know it will be very well looked after.
  5. My chosen route when travelling to N.Wales M5 to Jctn 6, A449 passed DG and on to kiddie A442 to Bridgnorth A458 to Shrewsbury then A5 (stay on all the way into deepest N Wales nr the triangle or A483 towards Chester then off onto the A55 coast road into N Wales. Other than that A40 out of your place and head to Breacon and catch the A470 goes the length of Wales and you should find all types of driving on that.

  7. Well done. You have bought the one, when I was talking to Gareth I was surprised how much he was prepared to let it go for. Your smile must be permanent at the mo. Good luck and keep her safe
  8. First time on the computer since Tatton. A few shout outs: Nice to meet VWVW aka Raymond and your sister; next time more fuel = more speed. OSV thanks for the merchandise cannot wait for the fitting and to see the differance. C5OEM didn't get your real name, thanks for the advice and knowledge on the lacquer, here's hoping the work will now be easier. Sorry I didn't manage to speak with all on the stand but the show needs many hours to walk round. Finally must thank the big man for pushing those dark clouds round the perimeter of Tatton and allowing us to bask in all that sun. Top Top day and one that will always be on the diary
  9. Weirdly no. I live in Wiltshire but know where you mean as I was from round there many moons ago, still travel that way but has not been recently.
  10. Lets be honest; I have followed this thread and I take no prisoners,(unless you have a great argument) the Corrado is only true to those that know and have been enticed by its magic. Yes there are a lot of cars that will give you more speed, grip, pleasure and fundamentally newer than the price we pay for a Corrado, BUT once smitten/bought you cannot leave this car!!!!!!!! Every day I have the WHY question and sometimes I think WHY myself, but I then drive and see dozens of their cars on a journey but never get to flash and wave at a fellow Corrado owner. That's what it is all about; this forum; us owners; our insider knowledge, the Corrado has something others cannot and never will deliver, on a VAG meet just watch at the number of people that stop to look at the mighty C Before you start, I am typing away having had a couple of bottles (wine) so will always say the drink got to me if you criticize Cheers Easy
  11. Cheers James, I am Northern and like the rain; it's what makes our country GREEN but it would be nice to have an ok day when on a meet. Will see you there come rain or rain!!!!!!
  12. I am leaving N Wales at 7am hoping to be there for 8am. Having bro on tow (Mk2 Golf GTI but quick, so maybe not on tow as he flaunts the speed limit) he will be on the MK2 Club stand. Looks like rain is forecast (WHY!!!! does it rain on us) but hey hooh we will keep the spirit alive. We will come along the A55
  13. I am 42 and vow never to be without a Corrado. First Blackberry Corrado VR bought in 1999 . Still on drive and used as a daily, mileage 178K Next one bought 2009 Blackberry Turbo 4x4 - Sold Jun 12 Could not be without 2 so Blackberry 3 bought Jul 12 - 90K FSH
  14. Well 2 and 1 as bro will be in a Golf Mk2............I'll find out what time he wants to leave I think he mentioned 7ish. Watch this thread and I will get back to you with time
  15. I got my ticket a few days back thanks Tim. We will be travelling to Tatton from N Wales, start point Glan Conwy well I'll meet up with Bro at Blackcat service station and we will head along the 55

  17. I have many hooks on my key box; infact I have a few spare :-) ---------- Post added at 10:35 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:30 PM ---------- as i have told you befor the corrado does something to you, i don't know what it is but once smitten; NEVER LOST IN THE HEART!!!!!!!
  18. It's the only colour (except for a certain particular silver) Its neally all there. Looking at yours especially the detailing it would definately be in a fight, the front has had a respray which has gone slightly wrong so needs rectifying, but tiny cost the rest is spot on Jesus I drive all night and now all you want is pictures.................patience young jedi they will be along shortly Nor do I but i have a very observent brother with a telephone It is a blackberry with an engine and 4 wheels cause I bought it
  19. Bang on...........well done it will be the LM's but you never know how negotiations will go might get them both, don't need the speedlines though I have 8.
  20. Good nose.............if all's well it will be a wonderful journey back south, 13 years on from the original a similar car is found but with nice upgrades already present. Wish me well.............
  21. Stop teasing young brother of mine :-) That definitely got my attention but negotiations were under way elsewhere; that said I did contemplate but needed to get home to read full thread (work access is sh**e) and show the wife. She wasn't to sure about the colour so discussions took place and well a deposit was made but not by me so like so many others, a missed opportunity. The price was unbelievable............................
  22. I so wish you were the destination but alas wife would not entertain that sort of money again. Nice reply though, don't worry the Tatton deal is still going ahead. See you soon but not today
  23. Morning Forum members. Up at 6am and on train travelling North, one way ticket; hoping to drive back. Where am I headed? Answers on a reply, happy hunting Cheers Oz
  24. Didn't think that would hang around long, not with the interest and the knowledge of what they were buying..................Is it to a forum member???????? well done that buyer
