Surely thats a fuse or relay? Can't remember which one and I've lost my book I'm afraid. If anyone looks it up, can they also tell me which fuse is the front speakers please? :)

8.5 is pretty wide mate but with just a 40mm drop you shouldn't get too many issues with that offset (et35). Tyres are wrong for the C though - you need more like 205/40/17 or maybe a 215/40/17 seeing as they're 8.5 wide. It would look mean as fek as the wheels will be right out at the edge of the arches :) It all depends on your suspension though? Mine is very hard so there is very little suspension travel and therefore not much rubbing/catching.

Just found this... The VR6 engine was introduced in Europe in 1991 in the Passat and Corrado, and in North America the following year. The Passat, Passat Variant wagon and US-spec Corrado used the original 2.8 L design, while the Euro-spec Corrado and the 4WD Passat Syncro received a 2.9 L version with 190 PS (187 hp/140 kW). This version also had a free flowing 6 cm (2.5 in) catalytic converter, enlarged inlet manifold and larger throttle body.

Its also going to be creamy smooth and will rev like a mo fo as its been balanced and knife edged. Nice :)

NO!!!! 2.8 AAA = 174 horses (about 184 if OBD2) 2.9 ABV = 190 horses

I'd guess at 205 or so horses maybe 210?

All rado VR6s came with a cat. However, if you can either find a friendly mot man who will stick his 'probe' up someone else's exhaust, or get your vr running so well that it passes the emissions without a cat, then you're laughing.
