Go for a VR6 lump instead mate. Just so happens I've got one for sale! And all the wide track stuff you'd need for the conversion!! :)

The Rado is pretty much definately gonna run hotter than the golf vr due to the lack of space in the engine bay, but not THAT much higher.

For economy I think the best thing would be to take out the VR6 lump and stick a nice 1.0 litre from a nissan micra in there! I have to agree with vr6storm - utterly bizarre question!! :)

Mine is purely manual as the central locking was half ripped out by some tw*t in the past. Never had a problem at MOT time.

Check the fuse on its own above all the other fuses first like NickVR6 said.

And as long as it doesn't reach that temp in 1 minute you should be fine! Strange thread :)

I love the E30 M3. What a car. Never had one myself, but my mate from Jersey had a totally sorted one with some quality suspension upgrades. Best handling car I've ever been in. Not been in the new one though.

I'm expecting to break down a couple of times on the way there probably mate! :) Seriously I haven't got a clue what to expect. I've got a big bore throttle body going on as well so will be interesting to see what it produces all together. In my experience though........ Don't hold your breath. Plenty of time for things to go wrong :)

Agreed. I've owned both too, and about the only similarity is the engine. The rado is a much better driver than the golf. Although the 2.8 does feel torquier IMO. Saying that I'm considering swapping back to a golf cos I'm so sick of the complete and utter lack of reliability my rado posseses! :)
