Are you sure your thinking of the same one Chris? It branches off to the TB as well or is that the blanking off you need to do? But yes as you say, it was the easiest to get at for once :)

Had lots of steam coming out the VR engine sunday morning, found the hose at the back of the head going to the bulkhead had a small split in it. Luckily it went when i was'nt on the motorway. Anyway i managed to take it off at the head and cut it down a bit above the split. It looks a bit tight now so i think it would be best to get a another one just in case. Anyone have a spare or know how much the stealers will charge? Cheers

There is a fix for the mirror switch in wiki, but here are some pics of the later switch. Its almost the same to remove but you just unscrew the door handle instead to get the later one out. I didnt have any brasso so i used Jif Very easy to do and it works! Go try it if ours dont work :D Before After And a dodgy phone pic of the VR

This was happening to my speedlines as well, got the back two done by a mobile guy and he ripped me off £30, but i went to a local tyre guy this weekend and he showed me it was leaking around the rim where it meets the tyre. Took the tyre off and you could see loads of rust and crap that the last person had'nt cleaned/scrapped it off. He wire brushed it all off and put some sealant on and its fine now for £10

I advertised my mums lupo in the autotrader a few months ago then got a phone call from one of these numpties asking me to part with 70 notes for them to sell it for me. I told them id just paid the autotrader so i'll wait for it to sell in there first. I got another phone call a couple of days later asking if i'd got a buyer for it, which i replied 'no', cheeky b*stard then said 'i didnt think so' and put the phone down on me  I always wondered why most adverts in there now say 'no canversers' ect..

I had a go at the mpg challenge in my VR and had to take a pic when it got to 40 :D Does the ECU remember how you drive, as after i got it to 40 (which took about 40 miles at 50-60 mph!) it seems to get past 30mpg alot easier now

Just ask! I just asked them over the phone if you get a discount for being in the corrado club when i ordered a part and they said yes! im not even in the club and they never asked to see any proof when i went in. They probably think "hes got a Corrado so he will spending a lot on parts!" Every time i go in now they give me a discount without even asking :D

I wouldnt mind having a go at this, so what did you use to tint the spot light bit and where can you buy it from?

Did you see that numpty in the renault 19 i think it was? He got pulled and claimed it wasnt his car and then got a knife out in front of 8 coppers and a camera crew and started to stab his own tyres!!! He then wonders why they all jumped on him and crushed him on the floor

I bought a 2nd hand K&N cone filter for my vr6 but it didnt come with the bracket to hold it in place so ive just cabled tied it at the moment. Having seen how much maf's are I could do with a bracket so i doesnt bash around. Does anyone have a spare or could someone measure theirs for me please then i can try and get one made up. Cheers

Any chance i can have the spare?

I dont fancy paying the stealers £50/hour or whatever they charge just to look at it? The seal did feal a bit loose tho, maybe the seal got hot and expanded before i pushed it in?
-
Right , i had another go at it last night after i had bought a proper plug lead removal lead. This is a pic of the new CPS on the left. (See rubber seal 3/4 way up) This is what it looked like in position and it was still running crap like that, It wouldnt push in at all, so in the end i just moved the seal out of the grove and it now sits flush with the head. Wow, Now i know why i bought a VR6 :D Full steam ahead

Recieved it this morning and cheers for the superfast delivery. :D -
Yeah i did leave the old one in at first and then realised after it didnt fit properly. I then tried to refit it but it still didnt want to go fully in, i thought went i tighted it up it might pull it in but no. Kad- did you have to have the error code deleted afterwards?
