Yeah, but if he's like me with nowhere to store a part car.... then even that's too much. you can't leave parts of a car on the road. Saying that.... I'll take a few parts if you do ;) Need a warning triangle at somepoint I think....
-
Problem is... if you're not ready to have a car shell on your driveway, then you'll have issues once you've sold some parts...
-
Well it's not all bad news then.... at least the pikey will be punished once it's wired up.... ... or maybe he stole it for the CD and was too pikey stupid to know how to get the CD out without taking the whole stero

Wish harder... you have to believe.....

It's a good reminder to us all, not to leave the removable faceplate on the stereo...
-
It depends what sort of money you spent ont he car.... some parts on the Rado are hard to get hold of and sell well. Although on here we always appreciate a well priced part or two ;) Just out of interest, what's wrong with it as you might find somebody on here that's happy to buy it and give it that TLC it needs ? I'd offer it up whole, and then if you get no interest, look at breaking it down.

Mixed opinions..... as I said, I'm still not sure myself.... I think they might look better on a nicer coloured car for starters  @timg60: Can you let us know what they come back to you with...
-
For those too lazy to click.... Here's some pics... These are shown as fitting :- These items will fit the following cars * Golf Mk1 / Rabbit 1979 - 1984 * Golf Mk2 1985 - 1992 * Caddy * Jetta 1985 - 1992 * Polo * Scirocco

Well I'm still not 100% sure I like them.... although it might be nice to try them. For that price it might be worth a go. If only I had more car prowess than a tea-bag I'd try
-
I was going to, but was sure I'd get the generic... "Doesn't say so on the package so no" answer...
-
Saw these and wondered what you guys think... if they fit the mk2 golf will they go straight onto a Rado ?
-
Hmm... Cheap but I'm thinking it might need some TLC.. LINKY
-
OMG... how dare you bring reality into this  I'm sure you can ship parts in. Although it'll add to the expense.... especially with a 15 year old car.
-
Ooh nice plan jim...

A LHD 1990 Rado surely... Think there was one on eBay ;)
-
looks really nice.... well maintained ;)

You might want to check your policy documents before cancelling if you do.... i know my contract with AF says you only get back a percentage of the premum and not the whole sha-bang....

I must admit i thought my girlfriend would hate it... as she's always slagged off Dubs. So when she drove it for the first time I was shocked to see her eyes light up.... now she wants to borrow it while I'm in Munich.... Hmm.... how can I make her hate it again ? Answers on a postcard to....

Some people just have to go that one step further... Interesting to see it compelted though... if only to see the next project to top it. Can you fit a Roles Royce aircraft engine in a C I wonder :cuckoo:

Yeah had Kenwood before and had issues with it... plus it was very.... vague is the best word. Nothing was spot on, everything was just OK. I had an Alpine before in my A160... so loved it. Pity about the speakers in there. So now I'm going for an Alpine 9847R (I think) Front 5.25" Alpines, rear 4x5 JBL's and a JBL 10" tube in the boot... All powered off a 5 channel Rubicon lil'wonder 5 (which most people have never heard of) Got a good local place selling me the Alpine HU, and doing a full fit on the rest for £310 which seems a good deal to me.
-
I'm going for an Alpine...and a lot cheaper than the kenwood by the sounds of it....
-
I'm in the same boat... Although not as long I hope. Dropped it off and they said 7 days... called on day 6 to arrange pickup on the 7th day and they'd still not touched it.
-
Hmm... I'm getting a squeeling but ONLY on full lock... maybe I should check this out

How much are the Inpro's going for now ? I was looking at some Clear/Red ones on ebay.de for about £75 delivered.....

Ahh... that makes sense. It looks like I've had a new set at somepoint as it was converted to Miles instead of KM.... now I know where my boosts gone ;) Never mind, I'll get a G60 one in Germany in January..
