thanks for posting thread aide much appreciated! does anyone know where the relay for the lights are i have no uprated loom as aide's mentioned! side lights and main beam work fine we think whatever it is has burnt out?? as i had awfull smell and burning before lights went out but now no smell & no lights!

id put a 911 turbo engine in there brand new from the porsche stealers take out the back seats ream mount ave it!

no matey just brought as it was only £20 so when i got a longish motorway drive ill put all the bottom on as well it basically totally covers the front end! to stop stuff hitting it like gixxer said!

cheers flusted bit worried bout that petrol leak now! but if can tighten it up just to get it over too you!

phil i think there is defo a fuel leak but i had a problem the other day with smoke etc on first page of this thread and that could of been caused by this but the problem being the engine wasnt really hot and also wasnt a very petrolly smell

sorry yanyards i didnt actually see your first post! do you know where the relay for the lights should be? have heard its behind headlight and in front of the battery but i posted pics on other post as i couldnt see them well the didnt look like relays

do i need to drain the system then refill or can just top up easily? thanjs andy

right lads have popped to the olds house in lunch to investigate the problem this should help i hope? here is some pics of the wiring between light and battery: are these the relays if they are had a real good luck no burning or burnt! then took it for a quick 5min drive! and when got back no real smell coming up thru so looked in engine bay! looked around the fuel rail and past the f.p.r and there seems to be a very small fuel leek! hae a look: i was wondering could this be dropping on to the manifold and burning? the only prob with this is that the burning smell i get doesnt smell very petrolly? hope that makes sense so then i phoned my mate and he mentioned that could it be possibly that theres a leak in the gearbox? and thats dropping onto the exhaust? i hope someone can make some sense of this! thanks andy
