Hi all my car is down at darrens(g-werks) for an intermediate service & health check on the 4th of march! all good! first one with the Rado but was serviced at jabba in october last year not by me though just before i brought so should be ok! right while im down there i was thinking of engine mods that i havent got yet and will have a bit of spare cash so what does everyone reckon i should get from this list is: unfortunately cant have them all! only one! RSR Outlet Oil catch Tank Red top injectors OIl cooler or S.N.S 5.5 chip but not sure how easy this is to do in a matter of hours? also can someone tell me what a charger blanking plate does? So what would you guys choose from the above list thanks Andy

i thought id start a new thread where everyone can put post in saying there favourite mod they've done while having there corrado! this could be anything from lupo wipers to uprated headlight loom to new alloys so lets see how it goes: my favourite modification to my Rado so far has to be: getting rid of the rear wiper! looks so much better now IMO!

woh thats well cheap insurance! especially for your mods! stan can you give the brent acre number out please! or website do they only insure modified cars

I know see my other plate is A2 HXY and all through school & footy etc ive been called hicksy with my name being Andrew Hicks. it suits! so gonna try put it on relatives car if not will have to sell number plate gonna put it up for offers! any ideas?

i wouldnt mind but think it sets the car apart!

i currently have the number plate G60 CC on my rado! but im am currently selling my mk2 golf and my number plate on there is very personal to me and it is a private plate! so when sold i will have my own number plate just sitting there! i was thinking about putting it on another family members but these all have personalised number plates on already! so what shall I do sell G60 CC or ???????? as i think the number plate makes the car as that it is unbadged other than this! but i dont really want to put my other plate on retention because otherwise it will never be used only other option is to buy another car and put it on there however this is not really feasable at present" any ideas lads? thanks andy

i think along the same lines as jay if you want a car and your happy with it then it doesnt matter either way, what £££ price you pay! At the end of the day if you didnt want to pay that much for your C then you wouldnt of brought it! When you see a cheaper C now its probably more in desperation of people needing to sell or not knowing what it is! (Then your just lucky) as most forum members will tell you they've spent well more on there C over the years than what they paid for it! its our hobbies and its alot better one i.m.o than spending 5k down the pub in a year! This is was on the island recently! COURT RULES 150MPH DASH 'NOT DANGEROUS'A YOUNG Totland driver clocked at nearly 150mph escaped jail when the judge ruled his speeding was not dangerous. Winchester Crown Court was told how carpenter Nicholas Adrian Whittle, 21, took his father's £35,000 Porsche Boxster and drove at high speeds along the Military Road last May. Traffic officer PC Clive Richardson told the court he had followed Whittle in a turbo-charged Skoda Octavia pursuit car and calculated his speed using an on-board computer system. He said Whittle was driving the Y-reg blue Boxster at 149.9mph over a distance of 0.227 miles. But Recorder Caroline Lister threw the case out, saying he went fast for a short time only on a straight road with excellent visibility. She said the evidence showed he had braked at bends, there was no other traffic on the road and few houses in the area. "I have to rule whether speed alone can be the basis of a dangerous driving case. I reach the conclusion it cannot," she said. The court was told Whittle's Porsche sped past a patrol car at more than double the 60mph speed limit while overtaking a van near Atherfield Bay. PC Richardson said: "To be fair to Mr Whittle, it seems to be a moment of madness, as he got to the first bend his speed seemed to slow down." Whittle, who disputed the speed calculation and denied a charge of dangerous driving, said after the case that he was relieved at the verdict but realised it was not over. He is now expected to face speeding and no insurance charges at the IW Magistrates' Court. "It's a serious charge and something I felt quite strongly about fighting. I am happy with the outcome," he said. PC Richardson said dangerous driving was just one aspect of the case. Commenting on the verdict, he said: "The judge has made a decision on her interpretation of the law." He added: "Island roads are not suitable for high speeds."

mate i personally would never buy a datsun cherry over my c while im alive

i feel both cars are quick ive only been in a 205 for about 5mins passenger seat and it felt rapid to me thats all i can say but when i slap my foot down in my c feels more refined because of its better build quality then i look at the speedo and think fook 50 - 125 in1/2 mile of road or when i took an integra type-r thats when i think my car is bloody quick!

i just thought that gixxer im sure will find a way if he cant drive but picking trig up from southampton! so its 700 miles instead of 800 lol
