There was a cheap ish MKII Jetta valver on sale here a while back... Good car, pretty quick and if you pull the valver badges off it looks like a pipe and slippers car that'll be safe in the Uni carpark... Mind you, you'll probably end up fiddling with it... MK1's are getting pricy now.. and the 1.3 isn't worth bothering with TBH.

have seen photos of it in the Police Pound (alledgely) and doesn't apper to have any damage, but only exterior shots...

Is there anyway of checking a CatC car to see what damage it's sustained? A friend's looking at a car and HPi come back as CatC last year, dealer says it was stolen with the keys and recovered later, and sold to him. Thing is "Stolen with Keys" would indicate a CatD to my mind.. so something doesn't add up. More to the point why would they write off a recovered car if it was taken with keys surely no damage? Is there any way of checking why it was CatC'd?

Hi there, Can some-one help me with the correct wiring for the A-pillar light switch? Went to fit my new switch and there are two possible wires connections, both have Brown/white wires but one has two and the other has one. Problem is neither seems to work? The passenger pillar wiring's been replaced so can't compere... Any-one got photos or a wiring diagram? Cheers...

Fixed the central locking again! Passenger door pipe off this time... Also had a look into the drives door light switch but need to sort out the wiring...

Hi all, Looking at maybe taking on a Cat C Mk1 goof with light rear-end damage. From what I can see will need new bootlid, valance, etc.. Want to get an idea of what I'm getting into work wise before so am looking for a recommended bodyshop in Herts/Essex... Any recommendations?

Jim out my head! Yes it's big and spacious in there..... Also the copious "lads mags" covers and hoofin great Zymol logo on his door... I was expecting to see the garage kitted with a Radiator/deep pile carpets and a complete clean room set up...(air locks/filtration etc)...and soothing music, soft lighting/ candles for him to get the Astra "in the mood" :rofl:
