Andy, how about getting him to look at old S3's (then you can keep "borrowing" the car)
-
Oh look another edited post from DannyBwoy..... :iamwithstupid:
-
loads of prestige & sub 10K
-
Good cars im told, but a trifle boring IMO! Perfect then! ;)

Andy depends where they're moving to? Jags tend to be quite good break-in targets as they're percieved to be rich old men's cars.. Have you looked at Lexus (i?). The old man went to look at a few 200's but ended up buying an ex-demo Mundeno (yeah I'm son of Ford man! Explains my VW fetish...) If they must have a Jag how about suggesting an XK?
-
Nuggit, PM'd, but I guess the usual question will be (like mine) how much?
-
Ok when changing the light switch on the driver's A pillar I managed to "lose" the wire... Tried needle nosed pilars but no sucess... Any-one got any tips to fishing the little bugger out? Help, I don't have an interior light which is annoying, but also the Clifford's not working either as it see the door open when I arm it!
-
Cheers, that looks really handy..... But question remains has any-one studded their wheels? If so did you use screw in ones or are there ones that push fit through from the back??
-
Not a huge amount of use to us valver owners then as we'll also need the mkii/iii goof manual as well for the engine?
-
If it's heater matrix then you'll be able to smell coolant on the carpets (assuming you have coolant in your engine and not just water). Mater's Rover 216's matrix did this (after 6 months! :shocked!: ) and it stinks....

Is that Australian slang for something? Dan Nope he just fell asleep in the middle of typing again.. Me in Mexico, yes too much Cerveza....and no razor ...

Thanks, loving the dark grey never seems to appear dirty (until I wash it!) Trekker was a laugh (Things are the US versions, mine was ex-Dutch army) but with the reduction gearboxes still in place meant v-max was 50! Mind you would idle along in 1st at walking speed.... -
Jim, You watched the "Night-terror" programme last night then? I can sell you a night light to protect you from the monsters in your closet!

Thought it was about time I stuck up some pics of the Valver, as well as some of my "old metal" so you can see where I've come from and where I'm going.... First up, my 1969 Notchback: slammed (to within 3 inches of floor) and running rare Porsche 914 Magnesium wheels.. My "daily hack" while I was running the Notch, a Mars red, 1982 Skyrocket GTi (again one year only model, runs early 1.8 GTi engine with external oil cooler), with BBSG60's, late body kit, This came loaded from the Factory, Sun-roof, fogs, height adjustable drivers seat, Zender rear spoiler and single wiper.. Now stored in a lock up awaiting some resto work... Followed by my 1964 Split-screen single cab: Again lowered and running polished Empi 5's.. Then my Trekker, again slammed running BRM copies and Rat-look paint/stickers.... Any my ex-wife's 68 Fastback: Spent first two years in Gibraltar (hence the '70 plate), again slammed and running even rarer detailed and polished Porsche 914 Fuch Magnesium wheels, and a rare off white interior... Now I'm the proud owner of a 1992 2.0l 16v Rado.... Been lowered about 40mm, and running the usual manky Estos... more mods to follow Now with self-blacked nose badge (rattle can satin black)

 Some-one buy Jim a calculator....
-
Unlike Tractor seats as the Stig found out!

 Surely he's hiding in one somewhere... or set up his own? Drifty.com? mailto:[email protected]?

Any-one converted to studs on their car? Noticed (a while ago) that the retaining screw on the NSF disc's been sheared at some point. Thismakes for interesting wheel replacement as I'm chasing a disc that just revolves round the hub.... Plus stud are so much easier to put a wheel onto... especially at the side of the road...in a suit....

Don't sit on them? Lose Weight? To quote the AA ad.... "I'm not helping much am I dad?

G60SC_Stoney, http://www.hostdub.com/albums/Oettinger ... .sized.jpg Give you a clue... ;) IIRC PhilK ordered a set of Yellow fog/indicators from Lamin-x. Sure if you drop him a Pm he'll say if still has them...

Garages can buy batches of numbers from DVLA, hence you ssaw a lot of *JO suffixed plates around Aylesbry... Think it also had to do with registering office, just more complex than the current plates...
