Andy, Again Plug and play for me too don't much like the idea of hacking VW's looms about.... (Think I see a thred forming here). I'm sure there are enough dead Golfs/Polos in the yards to source the OEM plugs, but I guess they're not really designed to be "re-wired"... And will more than happily test it for you too....

Toffee, kick off a new "Rat-look" style over in the colonies.... Take inspiration from 50's rodders, flat paint, shiny wheels, detailing.... Go full stealth go Flat Black (use a Flat laquer) Or TVR Chameleon.... only problem is it's about £1k a litre or something mad...

Mine went through on Sat with the usual "keep an eye of the front tyres" When the tester thought the GF was out of earshot he said "love the lowered suspension must keep the missus jiggling?" 16/19 The one theat's Illegally parked outside the big white building's on the "Gyratory" in Aylesbury. Got gunned by a copper on the M40 in Warwickshire (Police force have a zero tollerance on speeder apparently), parked on the hard should with the driver door open! Never got a ticket (was only doing 80) but made a mental note as that's just bloody dangerous!

Sounds like either the pum or a pipe off.. Bally if you arm it from inside can you hear the pump motor in the boot? Although if they do unlock by starting the car and pressing the buttons then it sounds like the CL interface on the alarm....

:cowboy: Do they also list the correct early slider ones (4-speed fan)? I can't get a replacement bulb for love nor money, and as it's a "one-piece" unit I gues they come included...

Been looking at the Venom site and like the look on the "Supersport" exhausts, all "Made to order in Germany" but have 15 different tailpipes all available for the 'Rado. So I can be a little different to the usual "Magnex oval" if I want to be... Still wouldn't buy one due to great/Legendary Cheese eating Surrender Monkey's (Clarkson's words not mine!) build quality (maybe it was shedding bits as fast as it was accelerating), and plummeting depreciation...

Ok thinking about the usual headlight upgrade (as most of us do who are still using our Rados at this time of year). So the question is.... In-Pro's? Stockers? Detailed Stockers? Yellow Laminex? Blue Laminex? Other? If any-one's got black "In-pro's" I'd like to see a shot too...

mk3 yeti, Have you managed to get into the boot yet? Had the same with mine, Barel would lock and unlock but when you pressed the button, nothing. Ended up crawling over the rear seats, pulling the black panel off the inside and operating the boot release that way. (pull the long rod running across the hatch) The "Monkey Metal" colar round the barrel had broken, and I managed to get another but no key so in the process of removing and fitting my original barrel I mangled the CL balljoint. But at least I can open the boot from the outside now!

Hesus! Road legal cut slicks from TOYO... So anyone know what the difference between T1-R and T1-S is? Same price just slightly different Tred patter by the looks of things...

OOOH! Its a "rare non-sunroof model" Wonder if there's a certain overseas forum member who's bought this as well! Maybe it's off to Italy? :lol: IIRC it's something like £1500 just to get a clutch done on these! :shocked!:
