    Whoo-hoo easy to do.. when I have a few hours free to get mine done... Kev I hope you also replaced the mechs with Dave's patented Stainless ones too? Just to save another removal of handles in a while... :norty: Plus they're probably much easier to replace with the barrel out... Must get on to do my Driver's side before that snaps too.. and maybe retumble the lock whilst I'm there!

    Dave, didn't get a pm? Anyway the Rado's back at last! Has had to have the head skimmed as it was warped! Seems much more torquey now and a blast to drive.... :clap: BUT I will need a new dizzy as the hall sender's dodgy... something else to sort on my return! :( Oh and BIG thanks to the Yeti, I'll also have a set of Samcos to go soon as well... what a great b-day present! :luvlove:

    Rocco and Satin Black work REALLY well... changes the look completely!

    Word of warning... they will only powdercoat in one colour... if you are looking a 2 colours you may need them wet painted and that will drive up the cost due to masking paint etc... As to polishing, I know they will polish 2/3 piece rims, but not sure of 1-piece... they can also do Diamond cutting... anyone got old Estorils they need doing? Sukh, have a chat with Yeti, I think he might be heading that way soon... or if not they're only in Hemel so about 1/2 hr away from you!

    Wow, those $55 ones are listed on the site as top sellers, who on earth is paying that for them?! I am short of two boot straps as well, there's lots of good options here, did anyone fit one of the options successfully? Yeah Gareth (OSV) found mk5 "String" ones fit from memory...

    Or have a look at my gallery... Tinted Lens covers! clip on and off easy... subtle tint, and best of all, Shiny so the lights almost look new as well! :clap: OK best of all less replacing expensive lenses thanks to twonks in 4x4's coming off muddy roads or reps who drive up the central reservation on the M-Way! :censored:

    In the foreground is a 195/45/16 on a 7" as you can see no "stretch" as such... only small issue is that the lips of the rims aren't as protected as they would be with a 205... however from memory the Toyo PX4 has "rim protectors" which sould sort that! So in short don't worry... be happy! Get them fitted!

    Though he had a banning orsder on Chorizo/spaniels??? :lol: Mate bad news though... on the upside if you have her details and witnesses then it's her Insurance Co you're claiming off... and they have an obligation to put your car back to pre-accident condition, I believe they can't write it off legally...

    You'll want to wind the coils up at the front! Mate's MK2 was turned away recently, after a trip up from N.London, for being too low and looks about the same height! :cuckoo:

    Not in ALL US states... in fact in some US States, general roadworthyness seems not to be as big an issue as emissions! As Kip said it has Air and will usually ride about 2" above where it is, so has the best of both worlds... Car's been built as an OEM+ looker not a performance car... and on that job I think it's spot on (notice the non-factory chrome mouldings anyone?)
