  1. Hmm couple years I guess... Will have to try a fluid change and see how that goes... Any tips for this? Will I need a "one man" e-z bleed thing?
  2. PM Me an address.. unkike stealers these'll be FOC!
  3. I have a hand full how many you need?
  4. OK My clutch pedal's just started to get "Notchy" as i depress it.. Have a feeling either the slave or master cylinders are on their way out. (Happened on a Saab 9000 I had and turned out both were dying :gag: ) Is this the case or could it be Pedal box? If it is how easy/difficult are they to replace on a 9a?
  5. If I had one... possibly!
  6. :censored: After I go and pay the £37 (Plus new cap) for a new VAG header tank... and a pair of waterpump pliers too for the cap when it's pressurised! In a word.... BUM_HOLES!
  7. Was one plan but the mounts in the struts feel quite "Thin" as I tried to urn the Siezed/Rounded bolt with a Tar-ox splined socket yesterday.. So don't really want to snap it...
  8. Cheers Kip, but I've seen that and it doesn't really help! Need to see brakets etc... and the usual VAG-CAT style exploded diagrams don't show the details...
  9. Ayone got a spoiler in bits ATM ? I could do with pics of teh componants of the rear wing/strut section in exploded format. Mine's rounded an allen bolt in the strut and will need drilling so I want to make sure I'm not going to do anymore damage when I do this! Also Walesy I'm sure you gave me part numbers a while back for the allen bolts but my efforts at using the search function are pretty pitiful!
  10. PINK And Black lips... Go on Karl be brave! :norty:
  11. Recaros are finally in! Just need to sort the chopped up loom now but they're pretty much where I want them anyway so all good, did 140 miles in them yesterday and nice and comfy! Just waiting on Voodoo to sort my new 35mm adaptors out so i can finally get the wheels/suspension done... Oh and anyone got any spare spoiler allen bolts? One of mine is definately NOT going anywhere without the aid of a drill! :(
  12. Andy, if you are going "Factory" then you may have remove some of the D/Side dash as it appears the looms plug into the top of the fusebox :gag: I have unconfirmed reports of a relay as well as the fuse??? Can any-one with Factory fit Recaros confirm this please?
  13. Yeah Pics of my "Poverty" spec interior will be appearing in the Parts for sale area real soon! ;)
  14. Dead easy really.... didn interior swap today! As I found out today... For those with a LATE (poverty/shopping) spec rear seat, and are consdiering a swap to the "Humped" style... you'll need the two brackets for the hump (hinge plate and catch) as well as the centre section from handbrake back, from the other car! :epicfail:  Or from Hump to Late.. the brakets will need to be removed. Also the mounts at each side of the rear seat backs, you'll need a big flat-head to push back the catches that hold them in place.. and a 10mm socket to remove the 4 nuts on the centre mounts... HTH..
  15. Sweet will have another go tomorrow, obviously wasn't putting enough welly into it! As an aside, anyone got tips for easy installation of front seats? Apart from have two people?
  16. Yup ypou should be able to see from above, or just hook fingers in behind panel and pop off (after pulling off the Fan controller and two sliders). Maybe that the bulb's gone, and if so it's a replacement panel I'm afraid, uless you're good with a soldering iron and maplins catalouge?
  17. Ressurection time... So with late (Poverty) spec seat (no hump) you just grab the front, push back and up? That simple?? Answers please need to get this out tomorrow!
  18. Don't mean to appear "thick" but doesn't wiring speakers "Backwards" hurt them in some way??? :confused4:
  19. Simon, I know you! You saw 5th Gear with the Bang & Olafson A8 didn't you! Mmmm... pop-up-tweeters!
  20. :worthless: ..of the Rat!
  21. See if I can find it amongst the "Just had the house to bits for new floors and carpets" devastation! In the words of Capt Oates... "I may be some time!"
  22. If not, I think ?Zerocool? on here can help... I have a loom somewhere if you need a photo?
  23. V.nice and now going Turbot? This was tucked away in one of the hangers at Players last year. No? Where in Essex are you from chap?
  24. Stefan, when you do this if you have the drivers side out can you please note which wire's connected where? I have 2 dangling in mine and neither seem to work! Cheers! Oh and PS if you're at the Missus' this Sunday pop both cars over to the Swan, Pimlico for lunch? About 1pm will do it! ;)
