  1. The reason why I ask is because ive seen a corrado with wheels that fill the arches perfectely, it says the wheels have 32mm offset, but there are on a vr6 corrado So would i be right in saying that if i wanted to achieve the same look on my non vr6 corrado, i would have to order the wheels with a 24mm offset instead of 32mm ?
  2. i heard that the front wings are slightly wider, didnt think the rears were any wider, are they? I'm still not convinced that only the vr6s got the wider front wings, i think it was all later corrados that have them cause when i parked my new corrado (which used to be a 2.0 16v, now a 20vt) next to my old 1.8 16v, the wings on my new corrado are noticeabley wider than my 1.8 16v
  3. I know the wheel offset is different on vr6s something like 40mm instead of 35mm, is that right?? But does this also apply to the rear wheels aswell?, is the axle slightly longer?
  4. sorry admin, for starting this thread....lol
  5. the wings on later corrados, are slightly wider than pre face lift corrados
  6. h&r do addators for 4 stud corrados, but the space the wheel out by 25mm so you will be left with an offset of 30mm on the front, and 25mm on the back the fronts will fit, if you change the tire to 205/40/17 the rear arches will need rolling right out and smoothing over (if used with the h&r addaptors)
  7. the proper way is to heat the paint with a heat gun, then it will soften the paint and stop it from cracking

  11. There are loads of corrados runing 9" rear wheels, you will need spacers, and you will have to roll the arch right out and then smooth it over Also, what tires are you runing?, bigest you can go would be a 215/40/17, but i would go for a 215/35/17.....yes they do exsit, and they are available in this country, I think i've also seen 205/40/17 tires stretched over a 9" wheel aswell

  14. haynes dont do a manual for the corrado there is another company that does a manual, but it costs about £80 you could get the manual for a golf cause the 16v engine in the corrado is the same as the golf gti as for idle speed, could be the ISV valve, but not sure Im sure someone will be along soon to give you a bit more info

  19. The pictures ive attached shows the arch mods I want on my corrado, so I can fit wider wheels Has anyone done this mod? Anyone know whats involved/costs with doing this mod?, i thought the archs must have to be rolled right out, then smoothed over
