Welcome back Rams

I think the main difference is the turbo, on the 225 engines they use a bigger turbo and both 180&150 engines they use a smaller turbo Both 150&180 turbod engines can be tuned to around 220 tops on the standard turbo, 225 turbod engines can be tuned to around 285 on the standard turbo There some differences on early/late 20vt blocks, but im pretty sure you could use the bigger turbo on any 20vt block Mine uses the standard ecu that came out of the 150bhp golf along with the engine and gearbox, I know some other 20vt owners use an aftermarket ecu, could'nt tell you which one is best Jabbasport do a 350bhp IHI turbo kit for all 20vt engines and they have alot of info on all 20vt engines, take a look: http://www.jabbasport.com/

Just bought the brembo brake conversion Im gunna renew the brake fluid when i fit the brakes What would be the best brake fluid to get?
-
How much would the custom braided hoses cost separately anyway?
-
Can anyone give me any info on these?, how much?, fitting prices? Thinking of getting one for my corrado
-
Who will pay for that then? tsr?, cant be your fault, only after driving 20 miles in it
-
I dont think they would be legal, cause theres no beam pattern
-
I bought my corrado with the conversion already done, and havent had any problems with it, i used to have a 16v corrado, and my 20vt feels lighter, and its cheaper to run than my old 16v My 20vt uses the complete runing gear (engine, gearbox, ecu, dash clocks) from a mk4 golf20vt, but i know some or one other 20vt owners use a fully programable aftermarket ecu
-
sorry mate, i was only trying to help
-
Yeah 205/40/17 will be fine, i've seen 205s streched over a 9" before
-
The places that are selling the kits for the corrado charge about £450 and that includes the custom braided hoses that you will need Buying direct from the dealer will probably be cheaper, but then you will have to buy the custom hoses separately
-
That amount of money will be for th 5x100 vr6 version and that will come with 312mm discs in stead of 305mm Its about £450 for the 4x100 305mm version
-
The engine will go in on the original mounts, You may need to get custom drive shafts made, thats what i have in mine, althouh i think some of the other 20vt owners have managed to use the original drive shafts, but they may of used g60 driveshafts, not sure

Dont foget me, henny :)
-
does anyone know how much a standard new one would cost?
-
i was thinking of buying this conversion for my 4 stud corrado, but i also want to convert to 5 stud using eurospecs custom hubs, so i will have to get the discs drilled to 5 stud aswell, cause i cant find anyone who sells 305mm disc in a 5 stud
-
i also thought the offset is different on the vr6, so that would cause problems aswell wouldnt it?
-
would the capipers from the brembo ibiza kit mount on the vr6, i heard the mounting points for the vr6 are different to other corrados?
-
maybe they should bring out an audi corrado, that may justify a higher price tag
-
I had 2 emails similar to yours when i was selling my 16v the best thing to do is ignore them
-
When you say "brought over", that means they delivered them to your door right?
-
WOW, only 100 euros, thats about £60 is'nt it?, does this aply to the rest of europe aswell?
-
nice looking alloys mate, do you mind telling me how it cost to have your wheels sent from germany?
