g60 vs vr6 (covered b4 but looking 4 thread)
Furkz replied to Astrasteve's topic in General Car Chat
68mm pulley, sns chip and s/s exhaust with K&N wont keep up with a VR6 unless the VR guy cant drive, tried and tested  on private racecourse -
why dont u try that guy who is selling one on the forum?
-
oops i thought he was asking how to tell genuine storms... dont the badges have a VAG marking on the back or a part no? although mr vr6 i have seen you contributing to thread rather then locking lately, well done
-
they only came in mystic blue or classic green

paint on that purple rado is awesome,,, sooo shiny
-
its soo easy if you ensure you keep things basic and label everything has you go along to make sure you know where it goes when refitting... also get someone with skinny hands to do the nuts in the scuttle i remember slicing my fingers bigtime doing that one... worst part for me was that scuttle nuts and glovebox gets a bit fiddly if it wants to the rest is simple enough. ALSO TOP TIP--- re sponge the cabling and tape it down as much as you can, stop future rattles developing- well worth doing
