Hey guys my beloved VR6 seems to have sprung a slight water leak.It is not so much a leak as a slight weep!!! I have taken some pics of the area it seems to be coming from and have attached them for clarity. It seems to be coming fronm a housing below the three sensors (yellow, blue black.)in the pics. Now looking at it and the restricted area around it would seem that the easiest way to get at it for closer inspection is to remove most of the front end,ie grill lights rad slam panel etc. Has anyone had this problem and if so how did you get round it.Did you go down this route of removal?? Any help would be appreciated.

Excellent write up. Just wondering if there is a particular direction that the,tea and water mix has to be stirred. :?: I have heard varying reports of differing directions depending on which hemisphere you are in. Perhaps our antipodean friends could give confirm the mix and direction in which their stirring takes place :?: All in all some good tips there well done

drunkenmunkey, Nice looking car those wheels really suit the Corrado IMO Would be really interested to see it if you go down the supercharged route 8) I don`t know of anyone else in Scotland with a charged VR :?: My car is off the road at the moment for a bit of TLC(suspension, bushes, brakes, paint and wheels  ) Once all that is done I may look at supercharging too,but if I do then it looks like the `Blade will have to go :(

Looks good but I think I would lose the black wheels. Not my taste but as you are calling it project shadow I can see where you are going. 8) Good luck with the mods  -

Anyone seen this one about G402VGG or know where it is now.Was/is pearl green metallic half leather electric recaros. Used to be mine and I would be interested to know what happened to it. Sold it to a guy from Newcastle area in about 1990ish. :!: Will try to find some pics to upload.

Nice collection there all looking good. 8) The full red rear lights are really growing on me now, going to have to do that to my VR
-
Of course it`s a new scratch, you did not give them your prermission to move it and you were not present to supervise the removal,so any damage caused they are legally responsible

Yeah they do them in Halfords. They are just push in dash type bulbs. I think they are about 75p :)

I must agree Bill the last time I bought PVW must have been at least two years ago :!: There just doesn`t seem to be the content to interest me any more apart from the aforementioned Silver Corrado   That was the only reason I bought it. As for Golf+ I have never bought it :!: :!:

Alternator, think it sounds about right. If it has had a fully charged battery in it and then using up the charge. It sounds as if nothing is going back into the battery,I would go with alternator :) -
Looks like Vauxhall fitment 5x110 :!: Don`t know of anyone doing adaptors so on to E-bay with them  :!: Will put some pics on tomoz as they are cool wheels if only they would fit 8) 8) Oh well just have to make do with the Rc`s l

Anyone know the wheel stud pattern for newish BMW`s.Just picked up a set of BBS RX`s,and they do not fit my C. BMW was my first choice but anyone know of any others that these would come as standard fit on?? Et is 40 5x1??,just tying to work out the PCD,anyone got any easy way to measure them?? They seem to be bigger than the C and the centre bore is larger. Anyone around central Scoland got a set of BMW or possibly Porsche adaptors I could try, just for the fit??

Glad to hear you are getting it fixed. :) Does that mean the insurance co wre only going to offer you £2.6k in settlement for the car :?: If they think thats all its worth :( Agreed value might be worth considering if this is how things are going :)
-
Unbeliveable a lot of POA in there and you know what they say ----if you got to ask you can`t afford it. Best one is the Mini Cooper at the end £28,950 :!: :!: :!:

Normally most reputable companies will hold show prices. If you order on the day and they don`t have the item with them, they will send it out p+p included in the price. :)

Here are some new pics with the addition of the new streamlined Sky dish. This car is my favourite Corrado so it`s time to start doing some more work on her.A few small areas of bodywork need tidied and the side rubbing strips are going. Will eventually have the whole car painted but not needing that yet.New wheels are here and a lowering kit is on the cards. 8) Thinking I don`t really want to go for coilovers as once they are on and the ride height is adjusted, I never adjust them again.Thinking along the lines of koni`s and eibach springs only thing is the reduction in ride height is a bit hit and a miss( 40mm drop what if it`s not low enough??) I really don`t want crash and bang suspension, something with a bit of a more refined ride.Had Koni coilovers before and they were good if expensive(on my old car now Cazzas VR) 8) .Gonna strip the interior out and fully clean and feed the Recaros as they deserve it.

Yeah as Henny, says it sounds like the symptoms of supermarket fuel :(
