    Plates like that are available direct from DVLA for about £250. You will have to put it on retention, you can download the forms from the DVLA website,costs £105. Really you are looking for someone that the letters mean something to,ie their initials. Stick it on Pistonheads and see what happens :)

    Do you mean the centre wheel bearing dust covers. I know you need to bash them a bit flatter to get the wheels to fit :) Hope this helps

    Yeah not the bargain you first imagined :( Looking at it the car has potential,but not at £3.5k. I suggest if you are still interested get round there and ask the owner to be there too. Have a good look at the car and any history point out all the bad bits and see if you can do some serious negotiating. If the guy really wants to sell then I would think a deal is there to be done. However I think I would be starting at £1.5K with the intention of going no more than £2K :)

    I got my Golf done by Chipped UK really good service and well impressed with the results. Bought the car as 150BHP,dbw Golf with the K03s turbo. Drove it 50 miles to get it remapped and it`s like night and day. Completely different beast,goes ballistic on the power compared to standard. Got a deal on the UKMKIVS Forum. Worth every penny :) :)

    Guessing that its an L reg :? The prices for Corrados seem to be all over the place just now. I would like to think they can`t go any lower than they are just now --but who knows. As for your car ball park figures £1500-£2000 possibly as much as £2500. To get £2500 at this time I think you would need to tax it new mot and tidy it. Looks good in the pics though :)
