This time last year I bought full body kit for my fireblade from the US. All panels were more or less shipped individually in seperate boxes. I did not pay any import tax on any of it 8) It was all marked as secondhand body panels with minimum values on it. So there are probably ways round it,depends who is shipping :) Mine all came via courier too,so it was not through UK post offices :lol:

According to a friend of mine in customs at this time of year you can get anything in without paying tax. Something to do with them being so busy with large orders they don`t bother with the small stuff :)

I got a set of all red rear lights from Germany and now have two rear fogs. I just had to push out the blanking panel on the offside and stick a bulb in et voila two fogs :) I will try to get a pic later :)

Think if you were to give them a bit of a clean up,that would improve the prices being quoted. To be fair they do look dirty :( I`m sure some elbow grease would do wonders for them. Suppose it just depends what you intend doing. Are you just selling to fund the black interior,if so I`m sure there are plenty people who will swap you. :)

If you are taking the top mounts off,the safe answer is yes. Mine failed it`s MOT too :( On a foglight bulb and a bulging front brake flexi hose. Not the end of the world :) Its all part of Corrado ownership. :? Bonding with your car :lol: :lol:

The sad thing is at the moment you can get one with tax and test for less than £1600 :( I would just get a price on it and try to get shot of it (particularly in your circumstances) :)

Reading this it seems to suggest that "got your cash means your £80 " ie the asking price for the wheels. Not I`ve got your £60. Pay the man his extra £20

Ok how easy is it to change an auto to a manual ? Whats needed,gearbox Ecu ?

Is it better to use an R32 stat?? Or are there other suitable ones. Take it the idea is it opens at a lower temperature??
