The arching takes place just where the HT lead plugs into the head (there looks to be a black plastic box that it plugs into). Can someone shed some light on what my problem is, and more importantly, how I should go about fixing it. BTW, my oil temp. went up to 108deg. today - is that ok (it did come down). Usually runs at 102deg or so - normal? TIA for your help :)

1. I have recently had a new set of HT leads fitted to my VR6 to try and lose an "arching" that takes place. The problem is still there - any suggestions? (only happens when wet I think) 2. Occasionally (only twice in the last 6 months) the radiator feeder pipe comes clean out of its socket (bracket and all) has anyone else had to have this re-sealed or is it some other problem I should know about? Ok - Can you tell me why the "storm" is so limited/valuable? What features does it have that my standard VR6 does not? How many were made? (and does anyone know how many Vr6s in total were sold on the UK?) Am I better off selling my VR6 for one with AC installed or doing the conversion myself?

How much work is involved in fitting A/C to my standard VR6. I believe the "Storm" model has it fitted as standard and wondered if anyone could recommend a unit I could have fitted to mine.

My VR6 recently acquired significant damage ( I have photos ) whilst in a garage. They are saying that the damage was there when I gave it to them, yet they did not check over the car before hand. The damage was not there, and I wondered if anyone could advise me on what to do next. They have offered to repair and to repaint the damage - but not the rest of the car. I feel this repair will stand out from the rest of the vehicle. Help me if you can please. PS. They want £700 from me to repair and paint the entire car - I aint got that much money.

Hmmm, Is an imported (Jap) 1991 MR2 (2L non-turbo) really faster than my 1995 VR6 (unmodified)? (like it's owner tells me - he even reckons that the G60 is quicker than VR6 - is that right too ??!!) and... How do I contact AMD - Bristol about chipping my C? Waaaaaaay !

Top Tip :D £250 for just 14bhp !! Is the low pick-up speed THAT much better with it fitted then? And the drive is beautiful already ! Hmmmm - any others got advice? :D

I have a '95 VR6. As you all know, it is fairly quick, but I was wondering how much it would cost me to "chip" it. If you can shed some light on this with regards cost and availability of the mod, please can you leave these details here. How much faster will the car be? Am i putting unnecessary strain on the engine? Any side effects? Cost effective? Oh yes, do any Corrados have a "lights on " warning if you accidentally leave your lights on whilst opening the drivers' door with no keys in? Can I fit a warning easily? Cheers for listening all :D

Hi all, As you will all know, I am new here. However, I am getting VR6 in 2 weeks and there are a few things that need doing: Smashed Front Foglamp Needs new Headlamp Wiper and I want to put white dials in it (speedo etc..) Any suggestions as to where I can get the parts? And if I keep the original dash dials, will I be able to put it back in if I decide to sel the car to abuyer that wants the "original" look? Which are the best tyres to put on (size etc..)? Thx in advance for your help :D
