hay bro, as far as people working on my car i get Jabba to do everything there bloody brilliant! very helpful and all the work i get its 100% top notch! Havent had Gworkz do anything but when i told them i have £3500 to spend on mycar and i wanna spend it with them they didnt really seem that intested nor bothered! Darren seemed really helpful to start, but then i called and called wanting them to do my BBM, Cam, Injectors, Intercooler and i just never got a call back and finaly afer like 3 weeks they told me the BBM chargers werent availavle for MONTHS! so i calls the states myself to see if the facts were true and low and behold.....no, they were in stock, so i ordered it my self and G-Workz lost out on my £3500....But i hear the work they do is excellent! I rum BBM and its the only way to get serius boost figurs! im running 22psi with my50mm pully! BBM its cheaper than a new GLadder! new Gladders are retailing at aroud £2300 but it changes everyday! If u are worryed about noice there is a silencer kit for the BBM but i love the sound! unique and different! My BBM was £1500 + £300 import tax! But bear i mind they dont need rebilding and will last 200,000 miles! Jabba do this awsome turbo kit which produces 280 BHP and the kit costsssss erm i think brian at jabba said around £3500 but that the intercooler fitting and everything. Give them a call speak to Brian about the tubo kit, but if, like me, u wanna keep that G60 special with the charger go BBM! u will need a 640 belt with there 68mm pully that comes on the BBM charger, so dont forget to order the belt from them aswell! Hope that helps buddy, chin up! u only got more power to come! Paul x

hay guys happy new year to all of ya and hope u had a good x mas :) ok just a quick question, has any 1 experienced there handbrake to be frozen in the morning? i take the brake off but its totaly solid and have to drive to work with the rear brake on all the way! i think its the calipers not the cable coz i can pull the handbrake rite up and get movement in the cable The hand brake lever is totaly floppy until bought back to the on postion! any ideas guys? Oh getting some work done on the 12 looking at 260 - 280 BHP will let u know how i get on cheers paul x

ermmm my pully got on with the bbm charger is 63mm, on the dyno the other day the boost came out at 11PSI so i think your rite flustered thats about the same as a well running stock g lader charger and STD pully, the 50mm BBM pullys do 22PSI+ so there will be a notiable difference, coz thats double the boost! lol Really appreciate chatting about this guys! :)
-
haha cheers junkie! think i may just do it! was just a lil worryed about the charger blowin!
-
yer i got, new pistons, con rods, reground crank, 1.9 big bore, cam, full rebuild all this year, so my internals should be ok i thought, Alot of people feel quite safe with the 55mm pully, just down to the internals. BBM have just e-mailed me that 55mm pullys run fine. So i mite be checky and go ahead with the 50mm lol ;)
-
yer cheers, i follow what the smaller pullys do... that just seeing if any1 had there BBM charger go wrong on a very small pully before i get one on mine. Thanks Paul
-
so the 55 is running nice. Sounds ok then if junkie was running it for 4k then sold on, sounds like it should be ok.. Anymore feedback about this would be great. Thanks Junkie and Flusted. Paul

just seeing if anyone has run or know how reliable the 50mm BBM compressor charger pully is on the charger? really need this pully with the piper cam for the $5-6k i spent under the bonnest this year to show its full Potential. Dont want my fairly new charger blowig up or anything though! Any advice anyone? :confused4: Thanks Paul

yer the dump valve isnt really needed! its really more for show, and i know it sound silly. but there will be a small amount of boost lost through that valve that opens and closes on teh inlet manifold so it can help a little, and with out the boost return it mean no oil mist in the charger and most importantly NO HOT AIR! BBM say but removing the boost return pipe, blank off the charger and run the ISV reroute kit, thats a 10BHP increase!
-
no mate im pretty sure the DV34 valve comes like that! its not adjuastable! a motorsport company had to take my monza one off coz it couldnt work properly coz the spring was to hard! the DV36 looks the same but is designed for those big 400+BHP cars so the spring with will be alot harder so make sure its the DV34, im getting my valve reported and polished so when i got it running nicer i will get a vid for u bro! and let u know!
-
Oh there is a well good way of doin it if u dant wanna hose it down, i do it after hosing it down anyway. use disk brake cleaner! spray it in the cloth, and gently wipe down, takes oil and grime clean off and u only need to use 1/4 of the amount of elbow grease...lol ;)
-
haha cheers waynos, yer what u need to do is blank off the boost return coming from the inlet manifold then the dump valve u fit will be LOUD! BUT u will need one with a very soft spring so it can release boost during idle! this is a Baily DV34 and its incrediabley loud and sounds awsome bro! u gotta do it u will love it! ok thanks for the tips Valerian and Toad :) its nice to get tips and help from VW owners! Thanks Guys!

well coolrado has the idea as many people do! so when we turn up to shows our engine bays are spotless! noting is fooked ether it always drys up and runs perfect! just wanted a bit more inside knolage on the G60's. more i know the better! These are the results of a good clean up! except i got a BBM charger now!...
-
hay guys. just a quick question if any 1 knows the answer or has simler experiances. every few months i like to hose down the engine bay of my G60, makes it nice and clean and keeps in in the condition that i spent ££££ on making it look like its come out the show room! But when i drive off and give it a test drive it starts to spluter when the throtle opens up, but when i put my foot rite down when the throtle is on full it sounds like the engine turns completly off so take my foot off the accelarator and it sonds like its running again! Bit wierd but ualy it all drys up by the next day and all is well. Just wonderng if any1 knows y so im a bit more clued up on what is happening Thanks Paul
-
oh nice results people! :)

(engine was freshley rebulit) 1.9 big bore flowed head std pully std chip fast road cam reground crank full stainless system cat bypass 1/2 ruined charger powerboost vlave blank off plate bloked off boost return inlet raceland manifold new injector seals (few otherthings that i done that aint springing to mind) came out at 187BHP flywheel 192 lbft Frankinstein Motorsport when i did the formula of max lbft x rev (at the point of highest lbft) divided by 5252 it came out 211BHP (192 x 6000 devided by 5252) But now got the BBM charger on (63mm pully), jabba chip on and injectos on the way so it will be interesting.
