Great, thanks. My interior is totally out of the car, inc carpet so if I remove the expansion tank I should see the grommit..... Nice one :)

Hi all I want to get my amp wire fed through the bulk head from the battery, what route to most take and are there any grommits to feed through or do people make their on hole? Ta

I collected some bits that have been trimmed and they looks fantastic. It is Porsche knappa leather and has been stretched to give a nice tight finish. I really am impressed with the finish. Really good match with the seats, I haven't given them a leather treatment yet so they look quite dull in the photos but just had a go at one of the pieces with my furniture clinic stuff with excellent results. The centre console etc is not ready yet, hes finishing the headlining and the rest of the plastics and said he will do my centre console just like a 355 Ferrari / stiching. Also, my new daily, great for the dog and flying to the shops, comfortable and easy to drive, just what I want for general driving. Just need a new MOT and tax. Will make a nice change from my old Transit!

Awful noise from rear calipers when braking when reversing..
Rams replied to Jim's topic in Drivetrain
I discussed this issue a few years back with a mechanic, he said it was the contour of the pads against the discs as they are usually braking in a forward motion and a new set of pads will do the trick untill they get really worn. He said the same applies to the discs. Rams -
Cheers for that, just going now to collect some trim and will get some pics as its supposed to be a top notch job....

Cut out and recessed in, but to the internal parts thats fits in the bumper then secured with the screw it comes with into the bumper. You could mould this in and make a larger hole which might look better than how I have it?
-
Not great pics but will show you once the car is painted to give you a better idea
-
Did your car not have them fitted then? I know some C models don't have the side repeators. I wouldnt have thought sticking them to the wing was a good idea.. Or even original side repeators mounted into the bumper could work?
-
You could always use different repeators in the bumper like M3 style? Or would you only use the slc ones? I really should have moulded mine in and it might be a job I ask the body shop to do??

The MOT is due on the 24th of Jan but my old school friend is the tester and hes seen the mods and said they were fine. They are amber flashing indicators which are clearly visable so you shouldn't have MOT problems even with a non friend testing.

I have 3 large tins full of trims and screws so I should have them. I really should have been more logical when I stripped the car! A mistake I will learn from. How long would you say it takes to put the interior back together for 2 guys? Do you know if the rear number plate surrounds still available these days?
-
Cheers guys, My trimmer will go mad as I keep giving him extra bits! U know your trim!
-
I cant remember what this trim is for or where its placed in the car? I've taken lots of bits to the trimmers and cant remember if I need to have this trimmed aswell? The part number on the trim is 535 867 601 RSM A good tester for Corrado knowledge, its beaten me! Tailgate somewhere? Or under dash near floor wells? Cheers Rams

Yes you can, I used connectors from the loom to socket holder. I had to make the wiring a bit longer to reach into the bumper. Nice and easy.

any joy mate?
-
Are you wanting to run them as lights or indicators?
-
good man, theres no rush but can send you payment when ever your ready, wasn't it buy one get one free? :D
-
The V5 doesn't state Storm, Just vr6. Have you got the storm badge near the gear shift surround? Do an advance search on the fan, theres lots of info. The fan switch maybe at fault or temperature sender switch?
-
What extra work did you go for? Color coding number plate trim? Headlight surrounds? I am wondering if I should do mine?
-
Seriously, don't ask :(
-
Did u have the otherside cip to? If not I will take the one you have please. Can you pm me payment details? Can do paypal?
-
I'm not that clear on your question, I have the slc bumper lights which are indicators and have them fitted so might be able to help?
-
It also has colour coded grill, Nice work, paint looks nice and swirl free. Is it original paint from what you can tell? Will be looking forwward to seeing your plans unfold, all the best
