  1. try reading"??????????????????" some of your posts are beyond even rude, and your keys seem to stick a lot of the time  the guy's been offline for a while, and then posts an update of his new motor, (with no question marks, and hense no questions) and you jump down his throat, as usual... Golf looks very nice mate, but not a touch on the C, especially after the money you've just pumped into him/her. try levering out some of the shiney bits of the Golf, and shoe horn them into the C 8) Cheers Therapor It's nice to be welcomed back..... Been really wierd not having internet access.... TBH with the C i'd like to start the ball rolling with the chains and followers being done.... Its all thats left to do really, although I don't think their needed yet, but evenstill!!! I know it would make me feel happier
  2. I'm not asking anyone what I should do..... I've sold my Audi and purchased Golf... I'm just not sure about the Corrado???... Love it to bits but i'm just rearly using it.. I will always need a Diesel for economy....
  3. Well I haven't been on here for a while.... Just recently swapped my broadband providers from Aol to Orange so I've had to wait far to long to be reconnected  Anyhow... Put the Audi up forsale on ebays free listing day and low and behold, I was bogged with a massive response and Sold to the 1st person that came!!!! 8) My aim was to live with the C for abit but then found another car that I just couldn't resist... Always wanted a Indigo Blue golf with Cream leather... and this one happens to be fully loaded... Full Winter Pack - Heated Seats - Washer Jets - Climate control with Sunroof - Satnav - 20Gig Phat box - DVD Player - Wheels also replaced with Golf Anniversary rims...... Now.... Not to sure of the future of the Corrado!!!!!!
  4. I'm still not sure how I feel about the D90's..... I supose I'm hanging on untill the winter passess and I'll get them polished.... Got to say though... I love these 928's on this golf!!!!
  5. Yes they do - I've got one for sale :) Lets have a look then... I maybe interested!!!!
  6. Go on then... Tell us where to buy them from  Wanna do my Corrado and Audi A4 :)
  7. Lovely.... Looking nice on the rims fella :) I'd love some 9's at the rear but I have my cars too low :( Coming along well tho
  8. WIll you fit it for me too Paul ???? Whats the Gas tank like ???? Big or small ??? :)
  9. Success :)...... Took the bolts back to the guy to shave 4m off the front 10... All sorted ... so far so good!!!
  10. Cheers chaps..... And nice tip Bill....:) I will have a go tomorrow... Or I may just take the bolts to the guy who did the adapters to see if he'll do them.... Watch this space
  11. Its the end of the Bolts that bolt the adapters to the hub.... The threads are poking through too far.. catching on otherside of disk.....
  12. Is that easy to do.... doesn't this have to be done to precission ???
  13. So gutted today.... Ok where shall start ?????? Got the adapters back... looking good!!! Got home put them and and sorted... Go for a drive later... Out for the drive..... bottom of the road, "Something don't feel right here"... Did i tigten up the wheels properly??? Are the adapters on correct???.... I'm sure everything was tight!!!! Come back home... Pitch black... Lets jack the car up!!!! Wobbled the wheels.... Adapters not on tight enough ???? So took both front wheels off... sorted that out.... ready to roll again...:) Now theres a weird noise coming every half a turn of the wheels..!!!!! What could it be???? After looking everywhere, I eventually tracked it down to the NUTS!!!! Now that I've shaved 5mm of the 22mm adapters.. the bloody bolts are to lond and catching slightly... NOW WHAT????? Help..........
  14. Dude.... Show us some pics then... I really fancy one that sits propper low :)
  15. These are one of the main reaons I wouldn't put my Corrado away for winter like most people do...... What I mean is after all the hard work and pampering,Its taken away in a split second... Now whats the pointin that???? Glad to see you enjoyed some of your hard work though .... I'm sure you'll be back with better :)
  16. Nice motor..... great colour... Wonder what 18ft caravan it was pulling
  17. And before anyone gets all excited... Thats Gear Nobs!!!! Looking for a replacement..... so gauging ideas ;)
  18. So the adapters came off today, along with my D90's :( Not for long though.... Dropped the adapters off to get them machined down :) Hopefull when they're back I'll be able to go alittle lower  Couple of pics... Excuse it being so dirty though  http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f165/ ... C00030.jpg
  19. Cheers Mike.... My only concern was the front freally as I know the wheels are close to the Coilover as it is, but that is with the cambre in at the top :)
  20. I won't have the anti car jacking facility on the car anymore... I've had far to many problems with them in auto arming etc.... Can't beat just good old plain keys :)
  21. If mine was a really low miler and was coming 1st and 2nd in show and shine events, then perhaps I may never drive it at all.... I'd only have to go and buy another one that I could use when ever.... I am abit of a perfectionist but I do like PHATVR6's moto  (Drive The Bast*rds)
  22. Been coming across a few of you recently who have declared the Rados of the road and away untill better weather.... Its not untill now, I've had a think about doing this too... But on the other hand because I don't use it as a daily means of transport I've thought whats the point!!!! Do they really suffer that badly from our winter season???? I don't know if I could completely lock the Rado away.... and never drive it again untill summer!!!!
