How did you go about testing the switches? My passenger seat stopped moving but swapping the switches showed the seat was fine and the switches were faulty. Want to get them fixed as new ones from vag are a joke... Nice looking c by the way!

Just seen a for sale thread for a set of electric recaros similar to mine and having seen the price I ve decided to invest in some seat covers!! Seen some on eBay but the vw sets are £57 posted ! Is this about right for a set of covers or can someone recommend somewhere else to pick them up from?

Bump for list of things to do for fault finding my remote central locking death! Done abit of searching, is the control unit a black box in the boot under the sidewall carpet? While I'm here I'm also having problems with poor radio reception and not being able to lock onto radio stations, is this likely to be a problem with my ariel?

Whats it going on? I've heard a decat makes negligible difference (n/a) unless the cat is blocked and is just a pain to swap come mot time...

Sorry mate but that dyno readout looks ridiculous! where did you get it done? Looks like the dyno isn't calibrated correctly at the very least! The plot seems way off, both the numbers and the shape! And as above why does the plot only go up to 4000rpm??? Id get your money back if i were you!

Thanks will definately try this? Where's the control unit? There's no problem with the keys them selves operating the central locking there's just no life from the fob

This is the message he sent me as soon as the auction finished (i sent him two messages before the end of auction confirming fitment but no reply) "Hi, they do not fit the corrado. Just looked on a corrado forum and i believe mountney doesn't do a kit for the rado even though they say they do?. Try momo they are a sure bet. Regards CK"

What do you guys think?

Hi guys, still no luck with my remote central locking. How would i go about fault finding and trying to get it working again? Central locking works fine, remote flashes, have tried syncing the car and remote but still no luck...any ideas?

Nope not yet completely standard still :( Fitted a new set of Kuhmo ko3s on the front, new plugs and new leads as well as a headunit. Got my new shopping list of parts to buy/fit over the summer when il be working full time; KWV1's Alloys of some description, still undecided Momo team wheel 312 front and 280 rear brake conversion cams K&N panel filter Priority is to get it lowered on decent suspension, then wheels, then the rest! -
Surely the s/c would act as a restriction at higher revs and boost? surely g lader wouldn't be able to flow the same as a turbo that size? I thought that maybe the s/c got bypassed at certain revs or boost?

How will this setup work? Will the s/c provide the initial grunt then cut off and get by passed when the turbo boots in??

Herisites do you get any issues with rubbing with that setup ( including with people in the back?)
